Needing surgery because you are too stupid to stop eating… more like realizing that you are an addict / addicted to food, much like people are addicted to drugs and alcohol… so instead of a 7 step program, he got his gut clamped. We could argue that anyone addicted to anything, was weak willed and stupid, but at least he was smart enough to attempt to make a change and fight his addiction. Self transformation via fitness is what fit is about. Well, other than miring men and saying no homo.
