Hey guys, I don't know if this is a question only a brainlet would ask, but does it matter how well done you consume a steak from a nutrition standpoint? Like is a well done steak better for you from a /fit/ standpoint than a rare one?

You should eat them raw.

Less well done is actually better tbh.

Medium rare is best. More cooked is easier to digest but less nutrients, more rare has more nutrients but harder to digest. Logic dictates to meet it in the middle.

Plus it tastes better, and is harder to chew IE takes longer to eat IE forces you to kick back and enjoy your meal instead of merely sucking down a big, bland bowl of oats+yogurt+pb or whatever.

Raw is some choice stuff. A quality steak cooked right should be as rare as possible. Not only does it leave more flavor, but it also leaves more nutrients.

Hi anon

Typically cooking food makes it far easier to digest but will lose some nutritional value.

Chimps have to spend much more energy in their stomachs digesting food than we do, but get slightly more energy out of it.

Your body knows how much something should be cooked. When it looks juicy and right then ts good too eat. If it looks too raw or too cooked, then it's not ideal. Your brain knows a lot that you dont know.
