Honestly

>if it looks like its healthy, its probably healthy

>if it doesn't look like its healthy its probably not

See exhibits a and b. Which is good to eat?

Your body knows, listen to it.

more protein, fiber and vitamins

less sugar, carbs and processed food

629291  No.139943

there is no "health" food.

>butter is a good source of energy

<too much and you ll get fat

>meat is rich in protons

<low calories

etc.

it is all about balance

except sugar

don t eat sugar

Wonder bread tastes like shit. I don't understand how people eat it regularly.

>good balance of nutrients to suit your nutritional needs

>minimal toxins

>easily digested and passed

It's healthy food.

>wildly imbalanced nutrients that would force you to drastically modify your diet to get a proper nutritional balance

>large quantities of toxins

>difficult to digest/pass

It's unhealthy food.

Posting the same thing I do in every thread asking about food: No refined sugar, no simple carbohydrates, no processed meat.

1d4b12  No.139962

>>139960

>No refined sugar,

While failing to get vitamins and minerals with your sugar is a mistake, there's nothing wrong with doing something like sweetening up the coffee you drink with a meal. I often take it a step further and see supplemental sugar as an opportunity to take thiamine or niacinamide, as these both help utilize carbohydrates. A sweet drink + liver is a great combination, as liver provides a wide range of nutrition all at once, and failing to supply carbs at the same time is a missed opportunity.

>no simple carbohydrates

Nothing more that a superstition without foundation in any scientific perspective.

some things that make food healthy, all of them are interlinked.

Digestibility- enzymes that haven't been denatured, bacteria, suitable for human digestive organs etc.

low toxin - what were the conditions like when the food was being produced? Does it contain anti nutrients? Can you prepare the food in a manner that mitigates these things?

Low inflammatory- does your nose, sinuses, body feel congested around the time you eat them or even the next day?

Nutrient density- this is not to say that foods with the positive aforementioned qualities cannot be consumed as just a source of calories if they are not nutrient dense, as long as you get enough nutrients from other sources.

The most important ones imo are A,D3,E,K2.

some other questions to ask would be- do your foods in question work for other people?(strong/smart/good looking/have recovered from injury with their diet that aren't shills)

Did your ancestors eat these types of foods?

hope this helps.

Sugar and simple carbs are alright? Off to McDonalds then.

51b8f2  No.139995

>>139994

I don't know the specifics on McDonald's nutrition but the most frequent problem with fast food is the fat content (think fries cooked in vegetable oil) and lack of vitamins and minerals. It's entirely possible to use supplemental sugar in a healthy way, and that's exactly what I do. It's not inherently bad by being a simple carb. If it was, the many animals that live on fruit and sweet nectar would be diabetic disasters. There are even reasons to believe a little extra sugar grows the brain. While fad diet promoters wax poetic about low carb diets as part of humanity's evolutionary history, real surviving tribes of hunter gatherers such as the Hadza describe honey as their favorite food.

Here is an extract from the recipe for living without disease that seems relevant here.

UNHEATED HONEY

>contains an insulin-like substance that is produced by bees when collecting nectar.

>That insulin-like

substance converts 90% of the carbohydrate in nectar into

enzymes that help digest, assimilate and utilize protein.

>Unheated honey is a wonderful sweet food that helps digest all

types of meat.

>That honey is wonderful for infants, fed in small

amounts at a time.

>The insulin-like substance begins detrimental alteration at 93

F (33 C) and is destroyed at 100 F (37 C).

>Diabetics, hypoglycemics and some infants cannot utilize honey if the

insulin-like substance is destroyed. >Honey that is heated above

104 F (39 C) is radical sugar that often causes slow deterioration of membranes in the body.

>Honey heated above 104 F (39 C) may cause toxicity in some infants.

CARBOHYDRATES

>are required for only 5% of the optimal

diet for humans.

>They are needed to properly utilize fat for energy and make solvents for cleansing.

>The best sources for carbohydrates are green vegetable juices and a small amount of fruit.

>When we eat too much carbohydrate, we create many conditions that diminish health.

>Carbohydrates such as root vegetables, grains, nuts and seeds, and products made from

them, such as pasta, cereals, cakes, donuts, pancakes, breads and

cookies create health problems.

>For example, after white man brought native people processed and cooked breads, sugar and alcohol, natives

developed all of the diseases that “civilized” mankind suffers,

including cavities, diabetes, osteoporosis, and cancer.

>Archeologists have concluded that as Native Americans hunted less, while gathering and cultivating more nuts, grains and fruit, they developed osteoporosis and dental decay.

>It seems that all races are unable to properly eliminate carbohydrate wastes.

Meat (from healthy animals) and vegetables (from healthy soil) is healthy food.
