I spent nearly $4000 on a road bike and in one month doing about 150 miles minimum each week got super fit and feel great everyday physically and mentally much more stable and positive. I then musterd the confidence to ask out a 11/10 QT and we’re going for ice cream next week. Keep your chin up lads, it only took 1 month to change my life for the better

biking is pretty great. Been biking everywhere for the past 4 years. My calves and thighs are toned and my stamina has increased. Biking makes me happy bc I feel productive. Get a bunch of your friends together and ride your bikes around. It sounds kinda gay but it is really fun to do.

you can steal one from a college campus for free or go on craigslist and get a solid aluminum frame for $100-$200.

hooking up with coalburner roasties isn't exactly and accomplishment but of course im probably just an over critical anon that. besides, she's using you for your money to get ice cream of all things. it will just make her fat.

biking is one of the best because it is extremely efficient and doesnt stress your feet.

it can become a money pit though, because you will always want a better bike and more addons.

tl;dr create an oppurtunity for girls to take advantage of you.

Absolutely this. If you get into biking as a general hobby it can get expensive and depending on the format it can be time consuming. I do some mountain biking and I've invested quite some time and money just keeping my bike at its best after every other run I take it on.

I agree. Its fucking stupid. I want to get a new derailleur because mine is kinda fucked up but I don't want to pay $150 for something that still works.

Ill never understand why 8chan users are so fucking contrarian about everything. It's like the board culture builds a knee jerk reaction for being a enormous cock about literally everything. Thanks for the motivation post OP, it's always encouraging to hear peoples success stories, so allow me to add a bit of encouragement of my own to hopefully put this board back on track.

When I was 17 I weighed over 280 pounds. Working my first job at Burger king, I somehow managed to lose 20 pounds of it, this is the push I needed to start getting in shape. By the age of 19, I reached 190 pounds, 10 pounds short of my goal. Shit happened, I got depressed and yo-yoed back to a weight of 240 pounds over the course of a year. I'm now back at 220 and still going. It's tough, but I know I'm going to make it. It's been crushingly depressing being so close and now so far, but this journey has overall made me a better person. Sometimes im thankful that I gained some of the weight back, knowing that once I finally reach my goal before the end of the year, I will have met my goal as the best person I could be. In my journey, I've learned just about everything it takes to get in shape and stay in shape, and once I get there, it will become a lifestyle.

There's still reddit and 4chan if you want to exchange e-hugs with soft-edged fudge packers.

This. 8chan helps harden up faggots and turns them into less-faggots. But in the end of the day, every one here is still a huge faggot.
