Just do light activity in the pool. Swim using mostly your legs or just walk the length of the pool. Do some fucking cardio if it's a shoulder injury. Sit in a sauna for a bit to loosen up the muscles/circulate the blood better for healing.

The pool ideanis interesting, though at the same time I'm not thrilled about swimming in kid's pee.

I should do more cardio, might take the bike for a few rides, it's been a while
