I've read that for some exercises (Like Kroc + t-bar rows), its best to NOT use a full range of motion, and to do heavy, half assed "cheat" reps instead.

Is this correct, and if so, which exercises does it apply to?

I prefer to do my overhead presses with a partial range of motion. I do them behind the head and lower the bar to the middle of my ears.

Yes, there's plenty.

Dips are best done down to a right angle in order to protect your shoulders. It's easy to fuck them up by doing full ROM "deep" dips.

Back extensions will destroy your lower back if you go past a straight line.

Plenty swear by preacher curls.

It's not necessary to go heavy, though.

Apparently, this grotesque chest is the result of using the full range of motion for some exercises
