Video gives a pretty decent rundown but I have two major issues
>weight training is just the same few lifts over and over with no variation or creativity
Clearly bullshit there are hundreds of different lifts and dozens of variations for each major lift.
In fact any well designed intermediate/advanced program should have a good bit of variety built in not to mention you don't usually do the same program over and over forever.
Also most of the interesting calisthenic stuff requires you to already be at least reasonably strong, lean and flexible.
>no mention of speed of progress or natural limits
Lifting is by far the fastest way to see results, you can completely transform your body in 6 to 12 months of dedicated work. Calisthenics progression is MUCH slower and more difficult in general since its less granular.
You will also plateau much sooner you can basically achieve ottermode but you can't get really massive.
So basically the only reason to do calisthenics is if you don't have access to a real gym for whatever reason.
