Did /fit/ get in their 60 minutes of cardio today? It’s good for your heart… but not for your feet… LOL

What’s your favorite? I prefer to run, but it gives me blisters like pic related so I’m confined to the stationary bike for the time being.

cardio is stupid and useless, it doesn't give you gainz

005a4a  No.134601

The best cardio is something you'd enjoy like hiking or sports. Jogging's okay if the scenery is nice. Also 60 minutes a day is a bit much. Lifting should already fulfill most of your recommended elevated heart rate activity.

Doing day hikes every now and then is fun. Feels good to get some fresh air, scenery and away from the city. Good practical cardio.

no cardio = not gonna make it

you need to build up their stamina so you can lift bigger.

Cardio only kills gains if…

>you are a total <8%bf lanklet who didn't eat enough calories and/or protein to make up the deficit from the cardio

Most of you don't fit the criteria above so your gains are fine. If you do, then eat more faggots.

jokes on you. Im a virgin who will never have sex.

87b764  No.134626

You guys are overthinking the cardio-kills-gains thing. Unless you’re on roids your gains are negligible to begin with, and if you are on roids, you’ll look even better if you can get down to that low bf% that is possible with cardio. Or you could, I guess, just use literal rat poison on your cuts instead, but I prefer improving my health. It’s good to feel good.

3b2de7  No.134630

>>134626

If you eat more, it doesn't necessarily kill gains, but it doesn't give you gains and it's very unpleasant unlike lifting which is satisfying. It does, however, kill your knees and as OP noted your feet as well. Maybe if you just do sprints, then it would be okay and probably a great exercise, but long distance running is not good for you.

005a4a  No.134631

>>134630

Sprints kill your knees and ankles faster than jogging. Jogging is good for them but you first need to acclimate to it or else you will injure yourself.

I enjoy running and biking just as much as I enjoy lifting, but unlike lifting, I can do it for an hour or longer continuously. So it’s more of a good thing.

Doing full body workouts like burpees are better for cardio than running and biking combined.

Working with your hands for the first time ever will do the same to your hands as running does to your feet. Your hands, like your feet are not used to it. They will blister and it will hurt. You have to let the skin get tougher and thicken on the places where there is most contact.

This. I am a janitor, for the freedom and because it's a hidden power-job (3 in 1: i get paid, i get the physical exercise needed, and i culturaly enrich myself with audio conferences, and i can say that my hands and feet were hurt when i started, but now i could extinguish a cigarette in my hand just to say how hard the skin can gets.
