I eat unhealthy food maybe once a week. Usually on Saturday, most likely coupled with alcohol consumption. A normal day of eating + something sweet and a few beers.
The problem with IIFYM and just eating to hit the numbers is that carbs and sugar are really fucking easy to get, especially cause they go hand in hand. 2 poptarts is 76g carbs, and at least half of that is refined sugar. Idk about other /fit/bros but that's 1/4 my daily carb intake, wasted on sugar raviolis.
Even eating clean, carbs will creep up on you easy. Some peanut butter and a glass of milk is 20g carbs right there, ignoring the fats and protein you get. They're the easiest macro to get, why bother filling up on shit and just taking away calories that you could need later on for your fats and protein?
Tracking macros is like Step 1. Sure you have some idea of what is going into your body and how much, but you can never outlift a shitty diet. Eat shit, look like shit. Eat clean, look like a sickcunt.
