Want to start lifting early in the morning, was looking for some nutrition tips. I can't lift on a full stomach so I figure i'll slam back some coffee and maybe a small snack (cheese or something) and go lifting.

The question is, what do you eat after? A real breakfast is out of the question since my gym is in the middle of nowhere and I have to be at work early, so it would need to be something I can bring along. Does anyone have suggestions?

I'm a disgustung fat fuck so i need to do keto, so most portable breakfasts are out. I was thinking a casein-based proton shake and/or some greek yogurt or something. But I haven't lifted seriously since 2010 so my broscience is very out of date.

Confirmed for not gonna make it. You think you can just have some caffeinated bean water and curdled milk then go and achieve spectacularly joocy lifts? Eat some quality fucking carbohydrates for energy and some protein to tide your stomach over.

I've recently switched to AM workouts due to time constraints and what I do is slam a 200mg caffeine pill and a tall glass of water as soon as I wake up. Then a make a shake with 1 banana, 1 scoop whey and enough whole milk to make it blend. I drink the shake while I get ready and do some basic stretches/warmup. My gym is about a 5min jog from my house so I usually just do that unless its snowing really badly.

For breakfast I usually do something like eggs, bacon/ham, cheese and fruit. But if I'm in a hurry I might do a second shake or whatever leftovers with decent amount of protein I have in the fridge.

I usually skip lunch and and just do a big dinner instead.

I'm planning to start adding BCAA, Beta-Alanine and a couple other things to my morning shake but I'm still doing research.

I get stimmed out, skip breakfast and lift hungry in the mornings (You do this in basic training and no one dies). I think the reasoning is that the body is forced to run off of fat instead of whatever is in your stomach. After the workout I would see how long you can make it into the evening. Call it intermittent fasting if you want, but allowing yourself to only eat 1-2 meals a day helps with portion control. You can only gorge so much in one sitting. Eat whatever you want as long as you get more protein than carbs and stay away from refined sugar. inb4 hur durr enjoy passing out in the gym. Just try it, if it doesn't work, try something else.

How the fuck do you guys have trouble losing weight. I need to GAIN weight. I'm guessing you have a lazy mind as well as lazy body aka slow metabolism. People who think deeply and thoroughly about everything (fuck einstein that jew just liked napping in color) to the point of being a brain roids tier jack of all lifts fifth dimensional hyperspace-time ascended being need about 10 000 cal a day to not die from brain starvation. It gets to the point where the body is a brain and the will is hyperintelligent, the mind wizardly.

Try exercising your will OP to become a god.
