I've been really slim my entire life (between "skinny" and ">toned" in pic rel) and I really, really want to bulk up seriously. The only problem is I have a very low appetite and motivation to cook shit, plus I'm a picky eater.

What are multiple high-energy-and-nutrient-density foods that are easy to prepare/make? I know about potatoes and oats, but I also need foods to fill in my other nutritional needs for the day besides grains.

I usually make a weeks worth at once and just eat some with most meals.

Pure whey isolate recommended. Use whole milk, half and half or straight heavy cream depending on how hardcore you want to be. I usually add a banana for texture/taste but you can make it plain add other fruit, nuts or even cacao.

Ive never been a macros type guy but I got type 1 diabetes and graves disease (super hyperactive thyroid). For most it means they cant gain weight but I buy 2 jugs of milk a week homo and a 1 litre 18 percent cream, and a box of 12 1 litre juices from costco. I sub the 18 percent instead of milk in my oats every morning (also easy just oats ina bowl cream and eat) drink 1 1 litre juice box every day (for my sugar because I overdose on insulin a lot) and I try to finish a 4 litre milk every 3-4 days. Anyways I eat a lot too but this helps me maintain my weight instead of losing it. If you do that and you have no medical condition you should gain. Also once your body is used.to eating more it will crave more so tpugh it out 2 months youll be fine. And dont kid yourself about being toned your not. Your skinny and I could kick your ass with just using my legs

In terms of foods, stuff like red meats, eggs, whole milk, potatoes, and oats will be nutritious and have high calorie contents. More importantly, you need to progressively increase your food intake the same way you would increase the weight on the bar. Calculate your BMR using any calculator and add 250 calories. Eat this way for a week or so, and if you are training hard you will find yourself getting hungry again. Once you feel hungry again, you add another 250 calories. This will build your appetite slowly as you need more food, but requires 100% consistency.

You know how you couldn't lift very heavy things when you started excercising, so you gradually lifted slightly heavier things more and more for a while till you got there? Do that with food.
