Who /peanutbutter/ here? What's the best kind to get? I know the full organic stuff is best for you but it's really pricey. Any other brands that would be good?

The important thing is that the only ingredients are peanuts and maybe salt. If there is an ingredient other than peanuts and salt, do not buy it.

The important thing is not to eat legumes at all. They are inferior food for poor people that don't have access to real food.

 No.130586

I like the skippy brand, specially their chunky variant.

 No.130587

Krema. Smucker's "Natural" stuff contains peanuts and salt. Not the Jif "natural", Jif is owned by Smucker's but for some reason markets a better peanut butter under their name.

Store it upside down, this basically does hallf the mixing for you, then mix it after you open and put it in the fridge to keep the consistency.

True. But I was talking about if you're going to eat it anyway because it tastes good. Peanut butter with banana slices in a bowl is ice cream-tier delicious.

I know, lol, blows my fucking mind to smithereens too. Google Food Dehydrators

>>130580

I've been adding some Hemp Protein+Fiber powder to my Isolate Protein powder and instead of a 200 calorie scoop of peanut butter at only 5-7 grams of protein per 2 tbsp, I've been adding a Fit Peanut Butter powder to my aforementioned powders that's only 50 calories per two tbsp's of powder and at 6g of protein. It's like $10 for a big tub of the stuff and you can mix the powder into water or whatever and just hydrate it into actual peanut butter.>>130580

Be warned that peanut butter has a ton of omega-6 fats. Keep your consumption to a minimum if you're not eating fish by the kilo.

>>130587

>contains peanuts and salt

This is the shit you gotta buy. It's the only peanut butter that actually tastes like peanuts. If it doesn't separate sitting on the shelf at room temperature, it's not worth eating.

I just eat a bunch of flax seeds before/after my peanut butter. reduces prostate cancer risk too I think.

 No.130905

>>130812

>falling for the flax meme

1) You're not getting the same quality of omega-3 in flax seed (ALA) as in fish (DHA and EPA). Might as well not even bother with how terrible ALA conversion is in the human body.

2) That "reduces prostate cancer" thing happens because it's estrogenic as hell. Large amounts will have dramatic negative effects on testosterone.
