>today for breakfast I had 6 (usually have around 4) scrambled eggs and 4 slices (usually have 2) of wholegrain toast. For lunch I had a yogurt ( I eat these everyday) and some fruit. Dinner I had some fish, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and potatoes with a litre of milk. Roughly 3000 calories in total. I also take a probiotic supplement everyday.
In such a situation, not only could there be an overgrowth of bacteria in the intestines causing the gas and smell, but you may also being undergoing excessive stress due to the burden of increased endotoxin made by that bacteria. The charcoal capsules were a good move, but they are only so effective when you keep consuming things that may contribute to bacterial growth.
Priority #1 should be to eliminate the probiotic supplement permanently if not temporarily. There is a lot of misinformation about probiotics and the science is developed enough for businesses to sell snake oil based on it but usually not enough to create reliable solutions. Even if the probiotic is eliminated, you may not see any immediate difference until taking an antibiotic, because it is possible for problematic bacteria to live in the intestines until you starve or outright kill it.
Other than that the single most effective way to reduce bacterial growth in the intestines and endotoxin is to eliminate all starches and fibers from the diet. Starches and fibers frequently make it to the large intestine undigested where most bacteria resides, but protein and simple sugars alone are normally absorbed in the small intestine before they can feed bacteria, but if starches and fibers are present at the same time, they may block thorough digestion and shuttle the protein and sugar to the large intestine, compounding problems even more. You could try an elimination diet where you replace all complex carbohydrates with an equivalent amount of simple sugars from sources such as pulp free orange juice, honey, and lactose (from milk).
Anything that prevents thorough digestion in the small intestine can contribute to these problems. Fiber is one thing, but even your eggs may be involved. Egg whites inhibit the digestion of protein and block biotin absorption. Egg yolks are safer, and there exist silicone egg separators that suck the yolk out of the white with great ease.
If you decide to eliminate starches and fibers, it may be prudent to make sure you get the following nutrients either by supplementation or careful food selection:
Vitamin B1 (thiamine). Potentially in your toast (if fortified) and in your potatoes. Orange juice has some, but high doses are safe and frequently better.
Magnesium. A little bit of everything you eat has it, and so does milk and most fruit juices, but it's better to be safe than sorry here. Worst thing you could do is supplement it in the form of magnesium citrate. Magnesium chloride, magnesium bicarbonate, magnesium carbonate, and magnesium oxide are better choices. Most people don't have an espresso machine at home, but 3.5 ounces of espresso has 80 mg (23% daily value). Regular coffee has magnesium too but isn't as concentrated.
Vitamin K. In the broccoli or any other green things. You could start eating beef liver for it or make a broth/liquid extract from boiling green things (where you don't eat the vegetables/fiber themselves, just the liquid broth). Such a broth would also have magnesium. Beef liver is an incredible source of nutrition though, and vitamin K2 (MK-4) is an excellent supplement choice which has changed the shape of my face and jawline while strengthening my teeth.
Vitamin A. In your carrots in the form of beta carotene. This is just another reason to eat liver here, but retinyl palmitate is also reasonable for vitamin A alone.
Tetracycline may be needed to normalize your intestines, but it's not the only choice. Vitamin K2 (MK-4) happens to be a weak analog of tetracycline, but there's no easy way to know beforehand if it's powerful enough for this purpose. A soup made from finely ground white button mushrooms boiled for 3 hours may be effective. While on an empty stomach, 1 tsp coconut oil, 1 tsp honey, and 8 oz fat free milk here and there may provide maintenance for the small intestine. Your oral health may improve as well if you get this situation under control.
