Hey, lads, /virgin/ and a /NEET/ here, been lurking for a week

I need an opinion on this routine I just came up with out of nowhere and started with today (at home)

(note: I am a total noob)

>30+ minute cycling

>3 sets of 30 pushups (just regular pushups, might upgrade to diamond)

>5 sets of 10 close grip curls reps (barbell is made out of concrete and a led pipe, wights around 30/40 kilos)

>5 sets of 10 butterfly curls (with barbells made out of the same shit, each weights around 5 kilos)

>3 sets of 10 pull-down reps (around 6 regular gym plates)

then, my favorite

>3 sets of 10 bench press (on a machine, same with the pull-downs) reps (around 8 regular gym plates

And can do situps before or after bed

Should I change the order? take down or add /sets/reps?

Also, since I'm currently a NEET, I'll be doing this routine everyday

No point in doing barbell curl with a close grip.

Also, you need to do pull ups

I have no place to do pull-ups, can I replace them with something else?

Like more pull-downs?

Also, barbell for the bicep curls is short, can grab it by the concrete parts though.

Thanks for the comment btw

>>30+ minute cycling

You should give up now before you sabotage your gains with this nonsense.

I'm around 25% BF so need the cardio

Anaerobic exercise burns muscle, while in order to lose fat quickly, you need muscle, so basically you don't understand what you are doing and should give up now.

Just do Starting Strength, it's the only routine unless you're a professional bodybuilder on steroids.

I'll just go balls to the wall for a week, then post results here in this thread if it doesn't 404.

Thanks anyway

You'll lose weight (muscle too) doing what you are doing, but doing it this way makes it more difficult to lose fat and gain muscle in the future. Lifting weights is both easier and more effective. I don't really understand the desperation that causes people to wreck their health when it's not even necessary.

Gonna replace butterfly curls with standing shoulder flies

>>129658

Just testing limits and seeing how fat I can pull through, I'll try to eat more protein for muscles.

Really thankful for the advice, cheers mate.

It's not aerobic if he goes for speed, strength, and power. HIIT that fucking cycling Anon! FEEL THE EARTH'S ATMOSPHERIC MOLECULES BREAKING ON YOUR FACE AS YOUR SWEAT LITERALLY EATS AWAY AT TIME AND SPACE.

Two opposing words:

1. aerobic - Living or occurring only in the presence of oxygen e.g. aerobic bacteria.

2. anaerobic - Without oxygen; especially of an environment or organism.

Lifting weights is aerobic exercise. When you exercise while winded or breathless, such as endurance running, it is anaerobic exercise. (The implicit assumption is that cycling for 30+ minutes becomes anaerobic btw.) For whatever reason aerobic exercise has come to mean anaerobic outside of scientific contexts, but it is more useful to revert to the original usage when distinguishing between the two types of exercise.

Too many people come here and read the stuff the dumbasses here say every day but ignore the sticky. Why come up with a routine when you know little to nothing about fitness? The sticky has all the info you need to get started without any guess work.

As promised

Had to skip a day because I was sore and needed to go job hunting (no luck, yet)

Here's a before and after and color coded them (using hindsight that wasn't really needed)

Not a photographer, sorry about the awkward angles and lighting.

Only added one extra exercise and it was shrugs.

Any advise for the future?
