It is a permadiet, meaning you never leave it or change it into something else. I tried it years ago (you guys make it sound like this is a new concept). I lost a good chunk of weight, even pounding down Wendy's before heading out to a bar for the night.

But at one point I had a horrible sugar crash in the middle of the day. Felt too weak to stand. So would it have been sustainable if I didn't push things so far? Possibly.

If you want the health benefits of fasting, tinker with things and see what works for you. Or spend most of the time keto.

That depends on your goals. If you watched the video, it's saying you should be on a 12-15 hour fast daily. I'd say at least 12 hours which when you think about it is hardly a fast. Just cut out your evening snack and you're set.
