I tried no carb for a while, my energy levels were too low for serious training. I know people say you need to be fat adjusted, but I had been following a no carb diet strictly for 3 weeks before tapping out. I did find that at least personally, lower than average carb dieting works well for me however. At about 260lbs I can function well with only 100g carbohydrates in a day, even with a hard training day.

I do very well on low-carb. Including weight lifting and fight training. Still explosive.

But after over a year, I couldn't sleep properly anymore. Now I'm cyclic.

Good luck bulking without carbs lmao. Hell, good luck not losing weight without carbs. Keto is great if you're a fat fuck and need to shred double or triple digits of pounds, but other than that, carbs should be the largest source of calories in your diet. And even keto isn't "zero carbs", you do refeed days etc.

Why would you do this? I like low carb and all, but just meat/cheese/eggs would get old really fast. At least eat add some low carb greens for more variety if nothing else. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even like veggies that much.
