For all things super heavyweight, powerlifting, weightlifting, mma, or what have you. Discussion, questions, answers, talking about the nuances of having no weight limit, it all goes.

As long as it is related to SHW, it can go here.

I started WL with a coach a month ago and I'm 193cm, 105kg right now, he said I'll probably want ot be about 120kg around Junior Nationals 2019, which is in February and I'm hoping to qualify for. I've gotten up to this weight from about 75kg two years ago and am at 20% bodyfat.

I've tried to research anything I should know, relating to training, health, and any other considerations I need to make regarding doing this.

Anything I should know that isn't immediately obvious?

What would you have done differently if you are currently shw?

I'm not shw, but currently weigh about 118kg. I think the most important thing for putting on weight is to eat the exact same amount of food every day, and slowly increase the intake. Your body will be much more likely to put on muscle instead of fat if you are only giving it what it needs. It's like progressive overload but with food.
