 No.124474

It's so hot.

So hot I can't even finish the workout I used to do.

I'm losing muscle mass.

I actually lost a lot of muscle in the last 2 months.

Help.

How do you train in the summer?

 No.124475

>>124474

Did you lose muscle or strength, OP?

Summer is hot as fuck here, I'd invest in a fan or something to blow on yourself and be prepared to jump into shit water if.that's what it takes to cool down. That's what we'd do in Arkansas before I moved out west anyways.

I think my strength is Ok, but I haven't progressed.

The real pain in the ass in the muscle mass lost.

I use a fan from time to time… but that shit dries my eyes and I prefer to avoid it.

I'm also starting to think that all the stress I am currently dealing with may be affecting my test levels, and thus aggravating the poor exercise.

 No.124478

Sure it's muscle and not fat or water?

work out at night when is cooler.

or put ice on your inner thigh area. sucks the heat right out of the body. I used to put freezer pops in my pants pocket to keep cool at work.

Pretty sure. I always been lean, now I gained a bit of belly fay and my chest is considerably smaller. My pecs and lats are slowly fading away.

God… I feel so mellow…

Did you see the flag?

Anyway, this is something I never really understood.

If you eat a diet poor on carbohydrates, how do you reach your calorie intake? I mean, people even add maltodextrine to their diet to keep their weight.

Also, being slightly lactose intolerant, stuff like GOMAD are out of topic.

I mentioned a 'bit of belly fat' just to counter-argument what Otto Von Bismarck was implying.

Of course I don't.

Do you know how much does electricity cost without nuclear sources?

Burgerlanders eat pasta by the box. We don't understand serving sizes.

Pasta is a decent cheap carb.

Electricity here is cheap AF. God bless American coal.

It doesn't mean the perceived temperature is the same.

We aren't machines, you should also take in consideration humidity and wind when referring to weather.

Seems like your educational system struck again, John. Better go get some Adderall scripts to compensate your genetic retardation.

Don't get it personal though, it's not your fault if your country was founded by slaves and criminals, not your fault if natural selection gifted you with height and bit too much heavy metals in your nervous system.

 No.124547

29C is not that high even at high humidity. I live near the black sea and in summer at 42C you find it difficult to breathe.

Yet all activities are moved for either early morning or late in the afternoon. So just do that.

Also, the news were mentioning temps in the 40 range.

We also work pastafag. And pretty much everyone is forced to lift at night because of it. 6-8 is prime gym time. Some go to gyms after 8 just to avoid the rush.

You need to drink more water and get more micro nutrients. Make sure to watch the electrolytes or you will get messed up.

Hydration is the critical factor here. Enough water makes nearly any temperature bearable. If you sweat too much you might get low salt or magnesium, and that will end in devastation. Make sure your breaths are right and proper as well; low ox will hurt you in every way. I think that it encourages better blood flow and thus helps regulate heat better. Getting a couple nice breaths help in cold weather as well, you get a nice warm glow everywhere.

Key points:

*hydration

*micros

*electrolytes

*good breathing

If you are losing a ton of muscle mass then you probably just aren't eating enough, or, more likely, you are dehydrated and the lack of water makes you look small. Here is a good metric for knowing the hydration levels: if your urine is clear, then you are about hydrated. About a gallon a day is what fits most people.

>>About a gallon a day is what fits most people

A gallon? I barely reach 2 liters

>>If you sweat too much you might get low salt or magnesium

I probably also have fucked up mineral levels as well as hydration, I noticed that after working out, my blood pressure would go quite a lot low.

May be time to get back to take supplements…

>>124563

You started calling me names, I simply behaved accordingly.

Sorry if that scared your little cucked ass.

>>124572

Cool stereotype you have in mind. You got those from films or actually real life experience?

 No.124596

>>124594

2 liters is alright if you're only doing mildly strenuous activity, but you should aim for a gallon over the course of 18 hours in hot weather where you are working hard. Buy a 32oz thermos and aim to drink 3.5 of them per day. Also count your coffee/protein shakes/milk in that liquid figure as half of their actual fluid volume, tea and sparkling water are 2/3rds and coconut/cactus water are 1.5x equivalency.

don't know about real degos but ginnywops here in burger land act just like that. theres a good sized Italian community where i live. They make a damn good pizza, but fuck, do they act just like the stereotypes.

it is entertaining watching degos and niggers yell at each other in the streets. like watching animal planet.

 No.124607

>>124596

That's quite a pain in the ass, though.

If someone is at work, and can't be taking a leak every 10 minutes, that means the gallon should be drank in a shorter period of time, possibly overloading the kidneys?

>>124605

The problem is that the Italian stereotypes are based on those who live at south, especially from Naples.

If you go above Rome, everything is a lot more peaceful and, except for the occasional drunk chads, nothing like that really happens.

 No.124616

>>124607

>you find it difficult to breathe.

that's not because of the heat lol

>>124551

i bet you bitch about the cold weather as well

>124607

>That's quite a pain in the ass, though

you bet it is, but you don't have to go buying an expensive 32oz thermos unless you want that much water to stay cold when and if you're in the heat, working especially well if you're keeping your coffee/shakes hot or cold throughout the day as the damn things keep shit cold and hot for more than a fucking day it's crazy.

i'm sure you already know, but just in case you or someone else doesn't. besides, you haven't mentioned how much you weigh and how much you're working out. i'm sure you know how much you need to drink. enough to make it a habit, right? and maybe it's the food you're eating or a lack of vitamins/minerals, or some kind of over sensitivity to excessive heat. you could be working yourself too hard. there are too many factors to take into account and too many unaccounted for. try looking up foods to avoid in high heat, and foods to help beat the heat.

Is this now an excuse thread?
