If you measured everything else in the day then you know how much leeway you have. When doing a cut it's a good idea to aim for 100 calories below your target in case you made a miscalculation or in OP's case don't want to count every single crumb.

Depends on how serious you are.

If you're doing cardio, and just eating "around a 500kcal deficit" it probably doesn't matter unless you eat a lot of broccoli/kale. If you want to lose 3lbs/week or aren't doing a lot of cardio to counter-balance, then yes, you need to at least get accurate counts of all your calories, including those breath mints or that piece of broccoli.

I just estimate that shit for like 100-200 depending on how much i eat. Just weight and count big components of your meals. If you estimate / round something while on cut try to overstimate rather than underestimate.
