No, but I love it every bit as hard kink, perhaps even more - basically for the same reasons as the Anon above me. There's simply more room for interaction and fluff when fulfilling an outlandish kink dominates the scene.

In terms of vanilla? Time and permitting, I like to take it slow. Lots of heavy, languid, gentle foreplay, especially with a slight oral focus - licking, nipping, and fondling your way down their body on the way to oral sex, keeping your lips poised at the side of their neck to whisper sweet nothings (sometimes a little TOO sweet since I'm a huge sap when allowed to be), holding hands, locking legs, little things like that. Clothing play and makeup are also supreme even if you don't opt to ruin them.

In terms of everything else? Orientation play, appropriately painful cervical penetration, bloodplay, genital neglect, overexertion (especially to the point of dry orgasm), speciesism, fightsex, manhandling/bruising/heavy biting and scratching, animal genitalia… we'd be here all day to be honest. It really depends on the character, and I'm sure some of those are considered "vanilla"

An anon after my own heart. Wolfing it down is a great power-play and a great sign of just how far-gone someone might be in any number of ways, but the process after it has gone down the throat does not interest me in the slightest.

I agree with the two above me. 2/3 of us talking about non-vanilla don't consider ourselves vanilla. I even specifically neglected responding to 730 in an attempt to avoid putting the thread too far off course because I know the board is deader than it's ever been. OP expressed curiosity about other kinks, we responded to it, it organically developed into discussion.

How about talking about things that are relevant and would also spur discussion? What about… we talk about things you love about vanilla, or the kind of scenes you like to use it in, or your experiences finding vanilla play? LITERALLY anything besides bitching that there's discussion at all?

I have a regular partner with whom I do all sorts of kinky things, but some of my favourite scenes we've done were just vanilla, loving sex between characters we've been writing for well over a year at this point. Admittedly it's usually quite a lot of sex in these instances, but it's still just oral, vaginal, paizuri, etc, all that plain goodness.

Personally I think vanillia with a touch of kink is pretty nice, but the "craziest" stuff would be some light bondage and master/slave or pet play, very light at that and some light inflation/large insertion stretching
