I also remember seeing some dude in a gas mask near my property as a kid and then my mom saying he was a homo or a kid toucher.

I saw a dude paint "I tried" on the side of an apartment building. He seemed really sad and I felt I had to ask if he was okay. He nodded then, but I found out a week later that he had hung himself. It was winter and the neighborhood was pretty shitty, so this became one of those memories that stick with you.

I went to a Marxist reading group one time when I was in college. The guy who ran it was a huge tankie. Stopped going after the second meeting because everytime someone brought up a point he would preface it by saying "well, the Socialist Appeal says…" He was basically just using the reading group as a recruiting outlet.

One time I was on yikyak and someone posted a hookup message, basically 'discreet gay sex.' The email was comrademarx7 or something so I'm almost certain it was him.
