Truer words have never been spoken. Alot of people like to think of adults and children as two different breeds when in reality they're similar.
All things that we hate teenagers for doing are the EXACT same things that adults do without batting an eye.
When kids point out a physical flaw of their fellow classmate, we call them assholes.
When adults do it, we call it "constructive criticism".
When kids make sex jokes, people get all bothered and pissy. But when adults do it, we consider them witty and funny.
When kids are ignorant of historocal events or dates, people call them dumb. But when adults do it, we let them off the hook.
When kids desire partners based on bodily aesthetics, we call them shallow and narcissistic. When adults do it, we praise them for being real.
When kids talk about their favorite pop culture, we call them immature sheeple. But when adults do it, we consider them having casual conversation.
Adulthood is glorified adolescence. Adults have no morals; they merely love to talk about morals and philosphies as a hobby. It never ceases to amaze me how adults swear up and down the aisle about virtue and maturity, yet they indulge in violence and tragedy as entertainment, drink thenselves to death, and waste money on vintage toys to feel young. Yet, they condemn kids for seeking fun.
