There are many things to live for or to die for, as I like to call them - excuses. It's this cheat our mind has built in it which helps us to deal with things. For example you might have family you want to live for. Or have cause to die for. Of course we can have philosophical discussion about how worthless that is but it's pretty useful at the end of the day. What we really live for, live with, live towards to and ultimately meet at the end is our own death. Notion of death is the only true force that makes us go through all of what we call life. This can be pessimistic and also very freeing experience at the same time. With that being said, never take away those excuses away from a man, let him have his own purpose, his own excuse to live and to die, let him be happy if he is able to be.

OP is a faggot nihilist. To me /doomer/ isn't about nihilism, it's about having real hopes, dreams and values and being denied the chance to live a meaningful life. It's about existing in a world that does not allow people a future worth fighting for, and a society which prohibits us from confronting the causes of society's problems. There is so much I would fight and die for, there is simply no opportunity to do so in a meaningful and effective manner.

Life is like being castrated but being surrounded by beautiful women who want to fuck you, and you want to fuck them, but it is physically impossible.

its the same in america tbh. cops only make things worse. they always look for a way for the state to benefit, so they just arrest both parties in any altercation. chances are you dont have a lawyer so you get a corrupt state lawyer that fucks you so the state can benefit.

OPfag phoneposting here. I agree, but there is a neuance. Sure there are ideas and goals worth fighting for, but they are so unreal it becomes philosppical to act like they actually exist. Almost no one cares, the few who do don't care enough to do anything or get it wrong, and the few who do anything end up imploding and taking anyone who joined them out with them.

There was a point I gave up on ideas being worth anything. Only reality counts and nothing real is worth anything anymore. Interpret my post in that context.

Nihilism is not caring or not wanting to care. I just lost the ability to believe in what I care about.

We don have ids here, but I am >>6326, look at the yellow vests and the proposed bank runs. I know this isn't very doomer of me, but if I can't try to build a healthy family and contribute to the world in a meaningful way, I might at least be able to contribute to the destruction of the system castrating my people in the hope things may be better for a future generation. Doom can be hope, we just have to stop believing in our individual happiness and be willing to do what must be done, even with no hope for a better future for ourselves.
