Interesting thought. I think that was true for me. Incapability to connect with others evoked frustration. Frustration boiled over into rage, which, as you say, tempered by patience became hatred. My hatred of human nature, society and self eventually turned into understanding. When you dwell on something for so long you eventually understand it.

However, if your agression levels get to high, take up boxing sessions. Helped me a great deal.
