just thought… that some among us could really take some useful data from deeper analysis, instead of overthinking about whatever makes a doomer with his tortured mind.

Too much content, you never know when you may take anything useful out of it.

 No.19849

I have always unironically believed Kaczynski was right, having read his manifesto front to back many times, but think the actions that got him called the Unabomber really tainted them. Then again, it's not like people would believe him either way. He's sort of a tragic hero in that respect, although you could argue that it's just common sense, the conclusions he reached, and that he wasn't really saying anything new. You could also argue that what he laments about in his manifesto was essentially inevitable - as creatures of instinct and comfort, we will gladly do whatever it takes to ensure the latter, even if it's dangerous to others (fellow people, animals, etc). I would like to think I'd be down for living in a cabin like he did, though, or at least somewhere as isolated with better digs.

Kazcynski actually became the unabomber with the sole purpose of getting his manifesto published because no publishers would take him.

His plan worked.

Uncle Ted should have joined forces with liddle Timmy

They would have baked beautiful and powerful cakes together

He warned us but we didn't listen. This is the future we chose

 No.19858

>>19855

I'm aware of that, but my grievance is that even so, nobody will listen to him, as >>19857 said. We have chose our future, and it will devour us whole.

Why does this board like Teddy and primitivism so much? No tech would make life even shittier than it already is. No medicine, vidya, anime, and general material comfort.

Is it because of the accelerationism and nihilism?

 No.19891

>>19888

I would say it's because of the accelarationism myself. I only like Teddy in that he had some cogent points, but I'm not a primitivist - I'm just somebody who wishes they were never born. I see Teddy as somebody who, like me, saw the world for what it was, but went about coping in a different way than I do. Besides, there's no reason to accelerate anything, honestly - it's inevitable that we will have a nuclear holocaust in our lifetimes. Not even being some le edgy doomsayer here - the signs are all there, clear as crystal.

The real blackpill is that we already live in a post-apocalyptic world.

Not only did it not end with a bang but a whimper, but the said whimper was so soft as to escape everyone's notice.

>>19936

You think so?

 No.20058

>>19936

We live in a world, where system wonderfully transformed itself into faceless power structure, where you know shit is fucked up but you have hardest time blaming real people for it because either you believe only few people are behind it and the majority is dumb, or you believe that everyone is responsible even if all they do is that they support this system. We are starting to miss targets with human face. Instead we have politicians which can be replaced and nothing will change, institutions and companies who have so much money they can't ever possibly go bankrupt. So we run around, blaming this person or that person, blaming this party and other party, blaming this institution and that company, we are totally lost and fucked up but the power structure is here, with all its failures, making sure people can outplay the pawns but not the rooks, bishops and knights, only to hide the fact that queens and kings are out of the game long time ago.

tl;dr apocalypse as we know it will not happen until natural even hits us, in modern era we transform, normalize, adapt and overcome
