Both are bullshit, independence would mean usurpation by the left who would attempt to turn us into a "socialist" state, since the bastards idolize Cuba and the rest of all the other "revolutionary" countries in the world, and literally only wanna line their pockets with money. Statehood is the goal of the right around here, and it's the same as the left and its delusions of independence, only with more "WE CAN BECOME PART OF THE GREATEST COUNTRY ON EARTH" and "THINK ABOUT THE BENEFITS GOY" horseshit. I'd say statehood would be worse in the long run, though it'll never happen because we're literally nigger Hawaii and it would massively add to the debt suffered by the US, thanks to a corrupt local government that's been literally stealing from public funds since the fucking 70's. Independence is an even farther cry since the main independent party recieves less than 10% votes every election, and like I said, those who cry for independence are hardline commies on the side of the old guard and rabid SJWs on the side of the new generation. Last election was curious because we had some cunt lawyer bitch advocating for DUDE LEGAL WEED LMAO and a reworking of the Jones Act which royally fucks us in the ass and makes us the USA's colonized bitch, and she got like more than 20% votes which is surprising but nothing came out of it and she'd probably get coopted into the local government and get involved in an embezzlement scam in the nearby future, I don't know, don't give too much of a fuck anyway, this country's gonna stay a colony until we get bombed to shit in some future war.
