Shoujo offers you eternal companions, but they are one-dimensional. Assuming that death is an eternal being, you could socialize with him if you have his number, but I don't think that would fulfill the human need to truly connect with another. The waifu would be much more fulfilling, but she's not immortal. Reanimate and chain transferal are temporary solutions at best for the waifu. You'll still eventually lose her, and when you do she'll be gone forever. Also, being a zombie removes all sexuality. With a time loop you could be with her forever, but she would be eternally unchanging. If you retain your memories between jumps the interactions with your waifu would eventually becoming unfulfilling since you would know everything that was going to happen. She would not feel like a real person. If you blank your memory between jumps you would just repeat yourself endlessly.

There does not appear to be a single option that would let you enjoy an eternal life with a eternal waifu. It makes this whole CYOA depressing.

Use Genie+Soul Mate, then advise the soul mate's wishes in such a way as to preserve your relationship indefinitely. I recommend giving her mind control so that she can steal other people's wishes instead of using her own limited supply.

Pull the plug and training are filler, I never intend to use the former and I can't even think of something I want to use the latter on, but I had 1 point that needed spending so it was that or invasion.

Here's how this plays out. My Soulmate finds the lamp. She wishes for the power to control minds at my advice, then she passes the lamp to other people and mind controls their wishes also to my own advice. My "perfect match" would naturally listen to me on such matters.

From there we produce such wishes as

We have an eternity to think of more wishes, as long as beings capable of making wishes exist (and the "never alone" part of "always something to do" guarantees this) we can always make more. If something unforeseeable should happen then EVENTUALLY someone will find me who will offer to make at least one wish on my behalf (not forced, just somebody nice eventually will come alone), which will allow me to resurrect/reunite my soulmate or do whatever is required to get the ball rolling again.

Note that this is indirect, so I am not harming or disabling anyone even if mind control were considered to be such (eg the hypnotism bonus). My Soulmate is doing so on her behalf of her own free will. I choose Lamp Expansion and Internet Connection because those are things that can't normally be wished for (everything else on the CYOA is fair game). I wonder if my waifu could wish for a way to enter my lamp with me (without being stuck there herself), or if that would count as improving the interior.

When people meet a new love the feeling can be very intense. That intense feeling is what people call "falling in love." I understand that the feeling of falling in love was not intended to last very long. The evolutionary purpose of falling in love is only to form a powerful bond between two people. It's a short-lived feeling - but after the "falling in love" phase comes a less intense phase of the romance that can last for much longer. As the years roll by this also becomes less intense - but then again so does everything else. I clearly remember when I was a teenager I felt much more intense emotions and sensations than I do now as a 33 year old man. So, here's the question. Do our feelings become less intense as we age primarily due to diminishing novelty or because older bodies are less capable of generating those feelings and sensations? If it's the latter, then the second phase of a romance could potentially endure for a very, very long time in an eternally youthful couple.

Anyway, the need that I am talking about goes beyond just romance. It's also the need for the familiar - a family. For that I would need to interact with and connect with other immortals on a personal level. Without that kind of connection I would be a lone immortal in a world full of temporary things. There would be no sense of having a lasting connection and forming connections with short-lived mortals would not fulfill this need.

Does a pet not fulfill that need? The scale is a little different because you can go through infinite new relationships as an immortal, but you can go through at least 5 pets in a lifetime normally. This first is probably always special, but is your relationship with that 5th pet any less significant than with the 4th? If not, then would the 10th be less than the 9th? The 1000th less than the 999th?

Having sequential relationships can definitely be painful, but I don't think that makes it less fulfilling as long as you are able to get through the pain in order to form the next one.

This, but on a more decent vibration. Being able to recall thousands of years would not make a day go any faster. Unless you allowed yourself to become callous or sour, one could easily form lasting, loving relationships and make numerous friends.

I don't think that having a pet is meaningless, but I also don't think that pets alone could fulfill my need to connect with others. That's why I also have people in my life. People connect with other people who have similar lifespans and keep those connections for their whole life - or the majority of their life. I would want something like that - something familiar in the sea of short-lived things around me.
