Honestly not too impressed. World of Whorecraft did a lot of the same things as this but better, and it feels like there was some other cyoa that was even closer to this while also still being better. I don't know. It could really stand to have more variety in the girls, rather than having literally 7/16 girls (counting rin and lin as one) either currently in school, know you from school, or otherwise have some interest in schools, not counting Alice who's implied to be younger than the rest and therefore likely still in school. I get that school is a common trope in anime. You know what else is a common trope in anime? People having crazy awesome powers with little reasoning, why cant you give me that?

I don't think you are being fair on that "school" nonsense. "Knowing you from school" doesn't count, you may as well count "has been to school at some point in their life", it's a pretty common trait on earth. Two of the quests take place in schools, so no surprise that those girls have something to do with school, it's the easiest way for the author to right a non-threatening quest so it fits in just fine. One is "studious", but that doesn't mean she's currently in school. One is a teacher, so I'll give you that. One used to be on track and field team (implied in school), but isn't necessarily still in school. I'm not seeing the 7th.

I came in expecting something with a lot of harem modifiers, and while I'd still like that this was really fun. Not the best CYOA but it felt comfortable which is a nice change of pace, comfortable even with not perfect options all the time beats ton of great options but feels pretty stressful to actually make a build in my eyes. Plus the optional adventures are a nice touch for possible but not garunteed bonuses. Honestly overall between enjoyable choices (which I guess is subjective) and great harem waifus (also subjective) wiggle room for a lot of end game choices without taking the whole thing for free, and general fun vibes, I'd call this a top tier CYOA, even if it leans more on the comfy than gamey side.

I guess I was a little unfair, but still, out of all the girls that aren't linked to a specific quest, only ONE mentions being able to do things the average thot can't, and even then they specify that her powers are useless in practicality. How is Acacia supposed to help me fight the dragon lord? Do they honestly expect me to bring Alice with me into war? The gifts that come with them are nice, sure, but that doesn't make the girls themselves any more useful and instead turns them into more things to worry about on your quests since you probably don't want them getting killed

Ah that's a lot more reasonable of a complaint, it's basically what I had a problem with too. The CYOA is fine until you start looking for ways to beat life-threatening challenges (even with immortality you still need a way to get through them). There aren't enough "power" choices to help with that and few to none of the girls have strong powers on their own.

I suppose the intent, going from the introduction, is you are already assumed to be some kind of multiversal badass, considering you already killed the demon lord on another world all alone during some drunken bender you don't even remember. Since you haven't actually told the angel otherwise she's still assuming you can do all of these things on your own.

There ARE a few power combinations you can buy from the start that can get you through a couple of the challenges relatively easily. Scansion 2 will pretty much instantly clear High School Detective for instance, but still pretty limited overall.

Not really sure what to pick with the last 3, probably a girl, preferably one I actually want as a waifu rather than the ones I picked for powers, but none of them really stand out to me that much.

Anyway, the plan. Shapeshifting is the only particularly useful power I can get out of the box, so that's what I'll use as my main ability. It's good for both infiltration and physical combat. Scansion 2 further enhances shapeshifting's infiltration abilities, and Primrose's invisibility fills in the gaps for when a disguise won't work. Kastel will never see me coming.

I choose Kastel first for her time stop power and upgrade that ASAP, extended health so I don't need to sleep helps with longer infiltration missions as well. In Mechanical Artes I intend not to even bother with the mech fighting. There's no need for that when I can infiltrate the corp and stop time at will. The exact details of how to win this scenario are up in the air, but I'm hoping to rely mostly on assassination techniques. If I DO need to fight mech to mech I can stop time and destroy everything nearby.

Game's of heaven was chosen just because it's easy and the time table lines up with everything else. "It's not cheating if you aren't caught" they say. They can't see anything if time is stopped, so there's no way they can catch me. Yeah they will "know", probably, but they can't prove shit.

War in the West is just the times lining up. With all my powers, including my mechs, permanent invisibility, time stop and shapeshifting, there's not really anything to fear here. Even if I do fail, I've got most of what I want already and I don't need earth anymore either.
