Instead of having to cast time stop three times in a fight and using up three casts, I make a wand of time stop at the beginning of the day and it'll let me use time stop three times. For anybody that's going to be taking more than one spell from enchantment (unfortunately not me) you can get infinite spells by using the upgraded disenchant on your wands

In the end I am an archmage that can Subtly cast any spell thanks to upgraded Empowered Magic, has enhanced physical and mental attributes by a factor of 15, collection of Imbued and Improved gear stashed in Storage and, thanks to the combination of Imbue, upgraded Echoing Spell and upgraded Disenchant, infinite spells per day.

I'm probably going to set up with my waifu in my Pocket Plane and go on occasional adventures.

Epidromancy: Complete Alteration

So the main goal here was to get rank 3 Complete Alteration, which more or less allows me to do or be anything.

Permanence is also crazy powerful, effectively replacing a good number of other option including bind familiar (the only downside to using Permanence is permanent summons still count to your 5 limit, while familiars do not). It serves to replace the upgrade for Remove Refractory Period, with the "drawback" that I have no way to end the effect. Permanent alter-age grants immortality, same as Soul Drain upgrade without having to drain souls (all permanent Epidromancy spells are useful until they are replaced by Complete Alteration). Permanent Earth and Fire control grant bending and heat protection without having to recast the spells. Permanent Change Mental Attributes makes subsequent years schooling MUCH easier. Permanent Hexproof keeps me safe from any direct magic (and nobody can beat me in a physical fight when I'm done).

There doesn't seem to be any practical difference between Alter Causality and Reverse Time, if alter causality is used to affect the previous day. At best you could say Reverse Time's upgrade for a 1 week effect isn't quite as easy to replicate, especially if altering the day a week ago leads you to being dead before you can go back and alter day -6, but since I wouldn't have the upgrade anyway they are effectively interchangeable.

I wish I could have more Eromancy spells in particular, but the project I'm looking for requires 12 points. Otherwise there's no way I would have taken any upgraded Epidromancy, as is I gained the ability to completely re-write someone elses human appearance (if they don't have hexproof).

Swap Reshape Upgrade for Alter Age upgrade, swap Eromancy school second year for Acciomancy, and swap Sensitivity upgrade for Summon Fictional Character upgrade.

Gaining Alter Age Upgrade means that I can bestow immortality via combining alter age and permanence. I doubt I can use an imbued object to let someone else cast a permanenced spell, so I need to cast that myself if I want to keep someone else alive. Losing Reshape is means anyone I choose to genderbend will unfortunately be flat with a boyish figure (regardless of which direction they go), but I never really cared all that much anyway. Maybe I can Imbue Complete Alteration, it is a spell.

Losing Sensitivity upgrade means I can only maximize it for double instead of quad, sucks but I guess I'll get over it. Gaining Fictional Character upgrade means I can have a more interesting waifu summon. Things similar to eromancy tend towards "middling power" anyway, and Complete Alteration can give me basically anything.

Yep, I'm sure. There was a version with 1.5 at the top and page numbers, but text in there was really hard to read. Author of this CYOA did some corrections for better readability, but it seemed to delete both version number and page numbers. Also, there are some changes to how Metamancy spells work, upgraded and unupgraded Imbue switched places and now you cannot Imbue Metamancy spells. Pictures on some spells also changed. There might be other changes that I didn't notice.

. Many, many spells like Hexproof, Aleph, and Energy Control can be set to permanent. Permanence and other metamagic cannot be used with Empowered Magic, nor can more than one Empowered Magic spell be in effect at once, which were considerations when choosing what spells to have. Altered Causality for example functions fine this way, but Storage does not if I want it to last more than a day.

. The description of Hexproof implies it can only be cast on the self, so only wizards can stand up to me. This is a problem even for rival princes since he'll have difficulty hexproofing spies and diplomats.

. Alter Age upgraded means I can grant endless youth to those I want, such as my dragon girl. Unfortunately they will eventually get so old that should it be dispelled, they will die.

. Reverse Time and Triggerspell.

. Flight and Alter Size can be combined to get me into many places I wouldn't be able otherwise. Combined with Alter Age I can get well under a foot tall.

. I can summon three powerful monsters with one spell for defense.

. Over time I can accumulate lots of golems which can do civil projects. Golems can fight, but are vulnerable to disenchant.

. Set Task + Permanence can be used to set mechanisms in perpetual motion. Energy control could be used to charge batteries or power a city in the event of a power failure.

. Imbue, Disenchant, Store, and others allow me to have far more than 5 spells in one day. Because I have a place to govern and so many useful skills there may be very few days I have spells to spare, but any I do can be preserved.

. Mind Sculpt is very useful for myself.

. Mental Communication and Aleph would be especially useful if I need to be involved in war, but are very powerful for directing anything. Aleph and Mind Reading can root out conspiracies. Mind Reading and Farsight and Energy Control aid in negotiation.

. Alter Memory isn't instant, but permanent. That means it can be dispelled to return the memories. Against politically powerful or cunning rivals this is almost useless. Light Control is better for deception and can make me look sparkly or whatever. I could be naked and no one would know.

. Enslave is useful for a ruler. I have responsibilities and may need to manage slaves regardless of what anyone thinks of the morality. It can be useful for captured spies or anyone I want to force to obey, too.

. Eromancy is minimal for an archmage who might want to seduce someone or survive a forced lewding. Sensitivity is terrible: you might as well take drugs and I have better ways to ruin a person.
