I defy anyone to make a more broken build. Such a character could move around silently, conjure darkness which makes his armour max strength vs magical and physical damage while his spells become max pow, can find enemies by their souls in the darkness, flash-freeze enemies into absolute zero so they can't move and unlimited power from summoned lightning bolts to fry any foes with. Items are just icing allowing him to take on more foes at once/in less time.

Fly into detritus territory, illusioned up and hidden like a shadow in the night. When a large enough beast is spotted, cast umbra. Have the dragon fly past the beast, shadow jump down onto it. If I am even noticed in the complete darkness, moving silently, make shade copies as a distraction and mark-of-fear the giant beast (which can't get away from me because I'm holding on to it). Either way, shadow-of-the-colossus my way (using enhanced strength and jump height and "nearly unmatchable" physical and magical prowess) to the vorpal-greatsword-indicated fragile places and murder the fuck out of it, using either stealth or a shitload of shade copies. Signal for my dragon to come pick me up by shadow-breathing on me so I can shadow-jum back onto him, then fly off into the still-blacked-out sunrise.

Come to think of it, it would be pretty sweet to just mark-of-fear the monstrosity and then get back on me dragon. If it responds to terror with violence, what it does to its environment might be more valuable than just the kill itself.

Looks like I'm gonna be a Spellsword Slayer. Most of the other slayers seem to use force spells, so it seems like it'd be good to round it out with elemental magic. Stun giant with Bolt, trip it with Wall of Ice, use agility boost from Dragon Fire Armour and Leather Boots to climb it, attack its weak point for massive damage using my Density- buffed Dragon Fire Greatsword and/or dualwielded daggers, repeat. Use Energy Focus and Energy Siphon at the same time to give everybody a mana boost. The Launch skill would be useful, but I'm sure I can Anna and Natan can help me train more in Force later on.

Can I suggest a few things for the next version?

>Describe how mana regenerates. Do you just meditate for a few minutes, or do you need to sleep for it? Can you eat food or drink potions to restore it?

I'll be a Vanguard Nature specialist, using the forests of the island as defensive and offensive measures against the Detritus.

This gives me a good blend of magical ability and defense against both physical and magical threats. However my nonmagical offensive power is atrophied.

As I'll be fighting enemies from inside a dense forest, the ability to stab at them from behind bushes and undergrowth is a priority. The magical nature of my spear also greatly empowers my spells. The shield gives added defense against all threats.

The dragon can breathe Nature energy on failing forests to help them rally against the Detritus. In this way it acts as a "crop duster" of sorts for the island's wilderness.

I tend the forests of the island, especially at the borders of the Detritus corruption. Using my Gaia's Chosen ability and my dragon's vitalizing breath, I help the wild lands stay strong against the corruption. After I've established a border along the corruption zones, I focus on extending my forests into the Detritus-controlled areas to cleanse them once and for all. I use my Call of Nature ability to maintain an army of nature elementals inside the forests and make sure no monsters can get through.

If I detect a large incursion, I'll use Overgrown to travel there instantaneously through the root systems of my trees. Once at the area I'll use both my Nature Elemental form (twice empowered) and my Gaia ability (thrice empowered), then Root myself in and use my Spores, Poison Clouds, and Vine Control to ravage the enemy while my dragon and elemental companions harass them. I protect myself using Warding and my Living Armour. Any injuries are healed by using Mend and Elixir.

In case of aerial attack by Detritus fliers, I'll cast my Spiritfire wings and fight alongside my dragon, using my the spores from my wings and spells to wear out the enemy while harassing them with my spearstaff.

Basically whenever I'm not mashing something with my magical mace, I act as a living energy battery for allies by using Energy Siphon and then use Energy Focus and Immovable Object simultaneously whenever I get low on it myself while using Deflect for incoming physical attacks. Density, Unstoppable Force, and Launch just to help with my melee. Black hole as a last resort when the tough gets tougher.

A Battlemage Assassin who goes deep behind enemy lines in order to strike at the heart of the Detritus Scourge. Joses comes along with me as back-up, while Ada and Isabel serve to track down any opponents which may have escaped our blades.

I use the Tarantula to set-up traps and carry me to otherwise inaccessible places (I doubt the encamped Detritus would expect an assassin coming from the sheer cliff behind them, would they?) and also as a battle companion in the event that something goes astray.

I would primarily use the dagger and crossbow for assassinations (charged with Plasma Weapons and enhanced with Vorpal Weapons) to take out targets silently, or from a distance with a single shot, but the rapier, buckler, and targe would be back-ups in the event of a fight.

Seismic Sense, Companion, Shadow Jump, and Illusion would be used to help infiltrate enemy compounds, and Nocturne, Mark of Fear, Light Drinker and Umbra would be used if a fight is unavoidable, or, on the other hand, if creating a bit of chaos to strike at the enemy unawares is the optimum solution.

The true power of this skill tree lies in the ice wall ability. With it, I have the ability, provided enough energy, to create enormous spires of ice, with pointed tips, which can be manipulated to be used as projectiles. When coupled with a lightning mage using energy siphon, creating spikes large enough to fell the city sized beasts that my mark requires should be entirely doable.

A Detritus beast slayer who rides into battle on the dragon, jumping off and using Unstoppable Force to body slam the Detritus beasts. On the ground, I would switch between the three weapons I have depending on the situation at hand and the enemy I'm fighting.

I would use Density as my base "weapon enhancement" skill, to ensure that all of my weapons hit harder than normal. Launch would be used to throw myself at enemies, in combination once again with Unstoppable Force to crush enemies into the ground.

I would use Deflect and Immovable Object as my "defensive" abilities, although I wouldn't be too concerned about that. Immovable Object would be used to stop giant Detritus beasts in their tracks before getting ready for a counter-attack.

Masochism would ensure that I'm buffed throughout combat, and Sanguine Essence would buff me even further when I drink the blood of Detritus beasts, and would ensure that I can come back from the dead if I fall in battle.

I am the Eternal Slayer, and none can withstand my blade!
