Wait, being thrown into combat? Fuck that, we win but never fight.
Skills:
>Engineer:
Useful for opening Locks, building explosives and a lot of possible fun and practical stuff.
>Trickster General:
If I DO have to face an army, I will combat them with my methods.
They will die without having a chance to find us. Guerilla tactics, Whench!
>Mesmer:
Now, Magic is certainly useful, and if accident plays foul, these tricks should help us out of most of it.
>Deadeye:
Sniping enemies from afar is a tried and true tactic in assassination.
>Master of Whispers:
I'd be a shit assassin if I didn't take that one, would I not be?
Units: 30 Renown
>Assassins: 12
Yes, my army consists entirely out of assassins.
ENTIRELY!
Lieutenants: 50 Renown
>Varaq
Since there was no Assassin Lietenant, I chose the one who is at least a somewhat sniper.
>Librarian Meriel
A bookkeeper is always useful, also her notes could be used to train more assassins.
>Sofia the weird
She has two skills which completely change the game:
Teleportation and Farsight.
Farsight pretty much allows us to spy on targets beforehand, given that she is the only one with that spell, noone would really take precaution against it, making it a spying tool that is unbeatable for a long time. Teleportation is just as helpful, technically allowing us to just mass teleport to a target, do the Caesar-stab-stab-stab-thing and vanish.
>Katherine:
We do need a diplomat and haggler for public services though.
Infamous Regiments: 120 Renown
>The Guild of Red Death: 36
Even better Assassins for a cheaper price
Quests:
>Unconquered Fortress:
We propose to the prince that we divide our forces: My team goes inside the fortress, incacipates the local commanders and open the gates for his troops to earn the glory.
Since the Prince only wanted to screw his rival over, he was fine with us taking the fortress as our new home base, thus marking the official start of the White Band.
>Plague of the Seas:
Wench, I don't need boats.
I just do the Warp Assassins over to him.
Stab everything and declare ourselves the winners.
Since we can't really use boats, with noone having any naval capabilities, we took his booty and let our clients have the pretty undamaged ships.
>The Sword of Life and Death:
After hearing of the sword, I looked at Sofia and nicked.
First Farsighting where the sword was, then teleporting there, skipping all traps, mechanisms and rival bands and taking the sword back as a trophy.
Noone really knew how to use swords, but it made a nice object of prestige.
>Wyrmlord:
1st Step: Make explosives
2nd Step: Teleport to Kolik with the explosives while he sleeps
3rd Step: Trigger the Explosives and Warp away
4th Step: Warp back in and take the Wyrmscales, they shall be used for a later project.(Altough some are already in use for improving the equipment of the White Band)
>The Queen of Death:
The usual Modus Operandi.
Stabby Stab Stab from surprise, then steal her amulet so that she actually dies, warp back and laugh as her reanimated army heels over without their reanimator.
Her amulet is useful, I temporarily give it to Sofia for Research and Eventual Mass Production.
>The Ruins of Unknown Kabbath:
This will be actually an actual dungeon crawl, since Sofias farsight isn't as useful, given that we don't know what we are looking for.
The White Band will stealthily conquer these ruins, taking out everything alive down in secrecy, disable all traps with the help of their trap sense and mine and Varaqs mechanical knowledge and look for the target book while collecting pretty much all books and using Sofia to transport them to our base for Meriel to analyze them. The plan is to give it to our client. After all, having a long term high sponsor is something really useful.
>Siegebreaker
Saboteurwork is asked here.
Well, first we use farsight to Scout out the constructs, collect information about their strengths and weaknesses and after we find weakpoints, we enact following stratagem:
1. I create Sticky Bombs
2. Assassins with these sticky bombs will be teleported in the near area of the golems weakpoints of the constructs and fix it to these weakpoints.
3. Boom
4. Collecting information about the constructs, thus unveiling the secrets needed for my plan…
>The Dragon Awakes
This is a highly dangerous mission, the dragon won't be harmed by the StabbyMcStabStab-Method, so I have to do it with the following method.
First, I acquire a poison strong enough to kill even dragons.
Secondly, I ask Sofia to use Farsight to locate the dragon.
Thirdly, I ask her specifically to look inside his inner organs.
Fourhtly, I give her a mix of the poison and a lot of other poisonous things.
Finally, I ask her to warp that shit inside the dragons stomach.
For the Reward, I take the Fiefdom, as having a permanent employer in the form of royalty is pretty useful.
