With really long CYOA's like thesemit's my policy not to read all of it beforehand but fill in the choices as I go through.

Let's see if that strategy plays out.

"Asura" has a horrible drawback, I also presume I can already desintegrate IZ with blue light because of the intro text.

Mask is not useful when fighting the IZ.

The elemental powers are meh, "arm" sounds useful but my eye is drawn towards "Domain" for making me completely invincible.

I don't understand, wouldn't I just be able to kill the dragon? What kind of disadvantage is this?

I don't care about the other classes and abilities, they are nothing next to the ability to make myself immortal, do infinite damage up close and still be able to shoot objects with hyper velocity over long distances. Not to mention the mobility I could get from shapeshifting or just plain changing how physics affect me.

I could take out all the IZ in a few months.

What's up with the comedy option? Because of luck I 'avoid this entire thing', what happens, the IZ just don't show up on my island? Where do all the female refugees come from? Is my island a known sanctuary? Why is it called the comedy option? What's funny about it? Why is there a picture of a really muscular man accompanying it?

You can break this CYOA pretty easily. If you take all drawbacks that give you points (the "Earthtillers" one costs points for some reason) you have 20 points. With this just buy "Domain", "Arm", "Stonewall", and "Asura" and presto: Unkillable one man army that has minor reality warping powers and qualifies for "Ascension". People will learn to fear the bagpipes that follow in your wake.

I failed to play as the rules are malfunctioning.

In the initial pages it is mentioned to pick exactly one class, while the no-soul class implies that you can mix and match class abilities. The white-blood class said to pick exactly one word, while the other classes have no such restrictions.

The initial setting stressed that the IZ are immun to weapons, fire and radiation, but a lot of options give exactly these abilities.

The praetorian, asura, and enflame seem to be the only choices to actually harm the ZI. making most classes useless. Clarification is needed, are we so special that anything we do is able to harm the ZI? Does any attack instantly disintegrate. No matter the weapon or force? Can I pee the ZI to death?

How would a Praetorian work with a No-Soul? Would it work at all? It'd be fucking ultrarad. I'd take any disadvantage for it (curious girl, honk honk clown and bagpipe dragon, for example, plus Earthillers+Crusader Legion for Subversion goal)

If not just Subversion goal, but mecha-killing things would be great.
