Quite possibly the most complex CYOA to make ever made in terms of making a build. I hope you aren't too pleb for it, but I know you are.

The Baphomet, Fairy Queen, and legendary Harpies are all directly next to my home base. The Pharaoh is of course off in the desert, and the Angels are up in the giant creator of a Fallen Empire. Generally my choices are all intended to create more friendly relationships, though even so not all monsters are always nice.
I haven't created a standing army as such, but I have a number of military units already living in or directly adjacent the areas they are likely to be needed. The plains and farmland under me are inhabited by large numbers of Centaurs that would make up my first response land army. To the north are a number of Harpies including the legendary birds. North east are 4 great dragons I can call on, and the mountains contain all manner of strong monster (right alongside the savage) tribes, as well as a large number of Kunoichi to generally keep an eye on things. Further on in the Lowlands are a number of Gorgons, primarily to control access to the purified lands. I'm not entirely sure who I'm allowed to draw on as a general, so I've left that up in the air. The Jungle also has a surplus of Jinkos and the Heath has some Dark Mages I can draw on for the extra magical power, though neither is available on short notice.
The Plains consist of an agricultural and trade community relying heavily on monstergirls, the Jungle is an ancient empire not at all interested in opposing me. The Heath is controlled by Vampires, the forest and lowlands are non-threatening (except for the angels), and once the Pharaoh is in place the desert will be firmly under my control as well, leaving only the mountains as a potential threat, but the fractious savages and isolationist dwellers are unlikely to ever form a great army against me. The floating cities are each home to large numbers of mermaids and sea some bishops, leaving their dogma so low they are unlikely to produce heroes at all.
Nearly all civilizations are infiltrated by succubi and danuki at minimum, in order to keep an eye on things and manipulate the humans in my favor. Dogma is very low across the map with the exception of the mountain Savages (even they are reduced by the Danuki).

I'll admit this is a bit… abstract as far as cyoas go. If not for the tutorial at the end I'd really have no idea what I was doing, and even then there's just so much to keep in mind. Took me hours to build the basic map, and I have a of ideas, but it's going to take even longer to actually write those ideas out, not to mention balancing populations.
The basics are:
>I live in the volcano
>The vertical line of mountains is called the Spine of the World; one side of it is completely iced over from blocking all the wind and weather
>The river going horizontally is the Gandr River
>Misc places of note include a human capitol in the center of the plains, and a group of sorcerers in the heath south of my home. They are at war.
>This war pretty much starts the apocalypse: Chaos Magic, Hubris of Man, possibly deep dark woods
>The wonderland heath is also a big mess that turns into a fairy kingdom
>I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my lowland cavern and that spot of wasteland. There may or may not be an event there, but you bet your ass there's gonna be lore

I know my build was an all day thing and I still sort of just gave up at the end (why the forest is mostly empty and there's barely anything in the water, and no specific armies).
Good luck with that, and nice idea of tessellating your map so you can actually SEE the connections, that little detail kept fucking me up and is the reason why I wound up just making everything an island so I didn't have to worry about it.
I should have had a tundra zone, there are a lot of friendly ice monsters. I just wasn't sure where to put it that would make any sense

I'm just going to assume you are saying that because you are subby and don't want the responsibility. If this is some thinly veiled "I'd rather keep my penis than be a god" you need help. Then again, this CYOA also has options for both at the end. "The runaway" represents a Lilim who doesn't accept any of her responsibility, "The puppet" would allow you to be the sub to one of your generals, and "Weird gender fuckery" is there if you want to pervert the holy genre known as monstergirl with your unnatural attachment to a lump of flesh.

I'm not whomever you replied to but I can say with some certainty that you're either the architect of this trap or some hapless supporter. Despite that I'll give you what you want and prove that there are members of the superior sex who wish to stay that way. I wouldn't for any reason become a member of the inferior sex. It is more shameful to be an omnipotent female than a pre-sentient male. "Powerful" females like the ones described above only exist to be dominated by "lesser" males. Even some nonsense "demon queen" is going to eventually be dethroned by a man. The grace period might be fun but the long game is what you should be concerned with. This is one of the several reasons this CYOA completely disinterests me, the other large concern being the tiredness of monster girls. Though even complete excellence would be insufficient to catch my attention whilst you have to degrade yourself so completely.

Yeah. So?
>If this is some thinly veiled "I'd rather keep my penis than be a god" you need help.
It's not thinly-veiled. It's upfront. I don't want to become female, even in exchange for power, because I don't really care about power. I just want to be comfortable, be valued, be desired, and have a lot of sex, and being a Lilim's pet would give me that.
>pervert the holy genre known as monstergirl with your unnatural attachment to a lump of flesh
The entire point of monster girls is that they have an intense love for those "lumps of flesh" and the men they're attached to. In fact, if they had a religion, they'd probably worship the male body.

They are much more likely to have the religion devoted to themselves instead. The Sabbath, lead by the Baphomet monstergirls, is a basically religion dedicated to "the depravity and charm of little girls”.

I don't watch porn. I think that people who watch porn train their brains to get off on watching other people have sex, rather than getting off merely at the sight of a naked female body. I understand that my preferences are based in biology and would not remain the same if I became a lilim or a succubus, but I don't want those preferences to change. I'm happy with my current preferences, which is why I tend to dislike CYOAs that say "You're a girl now" or "You have an entirely new set of desires". Anyway I've spent enough time in this thread. If you're happy with the idea of being a Lilim then more power to you.

Almost a week later and I still am nowhere close to being finished, but I did make something very helpful:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hsMa1SbSp2XuiyluNf5bPCm7coe_wNnFyk2BNVQWoH8/edit?usp=sharing
A spreadsheet listing all monsters alphabetically so you don't have to scroll all up and down the cyoa a billion times when you're trying to balance your tiles. I'm planning on making another page of it where it lists the biomes and all possible monsters for each biome… and maybe another thing for the human settlements, but I'm taking things one step at a time for now

I was thinking, it needs a way to quickly find all monsters that are available for a particular type of terrain. What do you think of this kind of formatting? Each biome gets a column. If a monster can always exist in that biome, use the value 0. If they can never exist there, they get -1. If they can only exist there under certain conditions, state those conditions in a "special" column, and put the number for that column in the biome.
So for example, Akaname can live in Lowland, wasteland, and Marsh, but only if her condition (infiltrator) is satisfied so those get a 1. She can never live somewhere else, so those all get -1. Cancer can only live in water if its shallow (condition 2), and only on land/wonderland if it's adjacent to shallow water (condition 1). She can never live in Lowland however, because lowlands cannot be adjacent to water.
The purpose of this is easy sorting. If you numerically sort the "Plains" column you will immediately see which monstergirls can live there. Anything 0 or greater can live there, the 0s are always allowed, and the higher numbers require certain conditions.

Yeah, I mentioned the "lists the biomes and all possible monsters for each biome" thing in my last post, and if you look at the bottom of your screen there should be a tab labeled "By Biome" where I have a list of everything that can go in the plains and an incomplete list of everything that can go in the forest… though it's pretty space-inefficient. Well, maybe I can have it two biomes wide? There's still like, 12 or 13 biomes, but it's still probably better

My solution is more mathematically elegant. It produces a single list and gives you the results you need with a single column sort. Needs a little work to make it pretty, but I think it will work better than what you are trying to do.

Here I go:
The setting is like jumanji, just an endless jungle, although there is a big volcano in what you might as well call the middle
On tile A we have the ambrosia farm, 6 units of slaves and 2 units of forest children, all to feed 10 units of tentacle plants
the slaves are supplied by the lamias living in tiles B and C, both of those tiles have 20 units of lamia and one gorgon (61 pressure) and relieve 15 of the pressure on the ambrosia farm by supplying half the slaves, 5 units of riders live there (100 pressure) and 5 units of jinko
On tile D there are 10 units of fallen empire (allowing for 50 pressure), the riders on B and C both have trade routes to those and are both accosted by kunoichi when travelling there (each by 2 units, making for the last 4 pressure)
the fallen empire itself has 5 units of hellhound and 5 dragons
the volcano, E, has one capitol and three dragons
I take one events and four visionaries
the event is overgrowth
the visionaries are my two gorgons and one dragon and one kuunoichi
>tyrant
>outseeing
>stronghold
the stronghold is inside the giant volcano
both my gorgon generals have a warcamp in their home territory, they control taskforces of lamias to kidnap and enslave men for the farm
my kunoichi general has a taskforce of ninjas on the body of one of the giant tentacle plants
the dragon general has a warcamp on tile D, where she hunts down visiting heroes with her dragon friends
I use my sphere of influence to make the lamias a militaristic society, so they're a better match against the riders and libel and slander in the capitol
My goal is to create a constant supply of ambrosia, with it, monsters won't need to mind human populations anymore
>destruction magic
I'll recruit a single dragon champion as bodyguard

the rider civilizations would have trade routes with the forest children and each other too
so there's a certain measure of urbanization to the green expanse, a civilization "approaching modernity" would definitely have paved roads
there's a reason why the two different rider civilizations are so far apart from each other, they're probably culturally different, employing different animals
B has flightless birds and used them in large herds to transport goods, while C uses pachiderms, they both look down on the other's way of doing things
because riders spread their domesticated animals over the worldlet others have access to them too, my lamias have cage elephants with which to transport slaves and the occasional caretakers of the fallen empire ride around on ostriches
the capitol to the fallen empire was also its capitol when it was still a living empire, in fact, it probably fell because I took it over
among those hiding out in the fallen empire are noble lineages who have 'claims' over certain 'manors' which are just ruins
the forest children play happily in the shadow of the giant tentacle plants, but require intervention from my kunoichi taskforce every once in a while, they might provide shelter for errant heroes once in a while, but only out of naivety
the humans of the capitol may realize that I'm a cruel oppressor, but they won't cooperate with the heroes that come to slay me, that's for sure, they're kept in and around the castle as my household staff, even though according to human inheritance some of them are the true masters of the castle
so there's four nations in the world
>the tentacle forest children
>the elephant riders
>the ostrich tamers
>the monster kingdom
I might consider myslf master over the whole world, but those that really directly serve me are those at the volcano
the riders see a steady percentage of their own taken by the lamia war machine every year, but for the rest they're free from my influence
the forest children are like kept pets, not really a vassal state

Cancer and unicorn seem symbiotic to each other, one purifies, the other desires purity. Could be useful in preventing bicorns, if you want that.
Seems like putting ten fallen empires in a cavern, under a wasteland guarded by slimes, ushi-oshi, girtablilus and soldier beetles, surrounded by plains invaded by combined Goblin and Amazon hordes, husbandry turned to monster farms, trolls, earth elementals, and human slaves.
In the nearby settlements:
Danuki mayors, Hakutaku and Ratokasr spies, Succubi and Doppelgangers together, Golems….
There are two Capitols, the north is totally corrupt and allied with the Lilim to defeat the other capitol. The north empire with sand people, barbarians, peasantry, enchanters, sorcerers, deep dwellers, and dark harbors, and the south empire with theocracies, white harbors, projects, sky cities, hermitages, riders, and river nomads. But both capitols are controlled by Danuki…
Farther away, the details doesn’t matter, but slaves are taken from forest children towns, husbandry areas, and the trade networks of Hubtowns and floating cities. None from full citizens of the Northern Empire (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_citizenship).
The ports, deep dwellers and sky cities are filled with dieselpunk contraptions, supplying the unending war between north and south, east and west.
Recent history:
A monster farm disaster has occurred. Women, led astray by Hakutaku teachers join up with an Amazonian tribe that happens to be traveling through the area. The pressure becomes overwhelming, and unmilked cowgirls see a sudden and rapid transformation. Seditious rumors suggest that the local governor allowed it to happen to use an rising farmboy adventurer to feed the Northern army.
This triggers remnants of a dark age as the nearby enchanters witness long lost technology returning to life.
This also triggers heaven breaking loose from the underground fallen empire, with angels pouring out.
In the north, a hero from the ice farmer villages (helped by southerner adventurers) seduces the Ice Queen, ending eternal winter, bringing bright purification to the north, and destroying all the ice farmers in the area and allowing the snow people to declare independence, recognizing a Jarl of the North.
5th event: It is actually a visionary Hakutaku that leads the Amazonian rebellion.
I could go into more detail with an order of battle with champion generals, but that’d be tedious. Obviously going with an approach to undermine upcoming adventurers.
The Lilim will be “The Puppet” archetype with the Hakutaku visionary as regent. Their names will be Katyusha and Nona respectively.
The border between the northern empire and the southern empire is protected by a DMZ of matagos (fueled by senseless invasions by the South, and slaves from the north), mad hatters, and slimes.
Gas masks will be a thing, supplied by the dieselpunk cities. Or it will be a truly senseless invasion with matagos around.

Also, I noticed that with orcs and personal preference, you could genetically engineer human super-soldiers.
If you wanted to.

Here's the first proof of concept, using the first build in this thread.
I hope that now that I've made one, the next ones will go quicker. Because if they all take as long as this one, I might have to give up on doing this for many for the worldlets.

I'm very impressed with what you managed to do with it, complaints about the map aside. You took my very badly thought out build and made something actually coherent out of it, so thank you.

Thank you so much.

Here's another one.
It might seem like I skipped through some builds, but I wanted to use one where the grid was already established.

Forgot this thing existed. Updated this so that now it has a tab organized similar to >>10707 plus stuff for the human settlements.
As for my actual build? I've yet to dig it back up. One step at a time
