I'm basically the main tank. My purpose and my goal is to protect the others who fight alongside me, physically AND mentally. Between Barriers, Colosus, Dreadnought armor, and NBC Shield I'm incredibly resistant to all forms of attack. I won't be AVOIDING anything unless you count blocking it at range, but it's going to take a LOT to hurt me. The enemy deciding to attack me first (primary target) will be their greatest weakness.

Offensively, I have blademaster and telekinetic. Combined that means telekinetically swinging multiple giant swords around nier automata style, it's also useful for parrying at range (in addition to aegis). Telekinetic Crush allows me to hold the enemy in place for the rest of the team to get a good shot, or condense a swarm into a single point either as substitute for or support for AOE. Also makes a decent attack if you condense all that force to, say, the target's eye or elbow.

On a 9-15 I choose Lia as 4th, on anything else she's either free or dead and I choose Meridia as 4th or 5th. Friends were chosen largely by "who needs saving", though exactly what that means is open to interpretation. On a <9 roll this comes with an especially strong desperation that only gets worse as more people die to my "curse". With Emphatic I'm also good for protecting them mentally, though that depends on how well I manage to hold together myself.

Well that worked out pretty well. I got Lia for free and I looked good doing it.

No one else will be dying if I have anything to say about it. I readily volunteer to assist other Resonators on their missions as often as I'm able. Even if I'm not very well suited to fighting those particular outsiders, I'm still the toughest motherfucker around and something about me (I think it's my empathic ability) makes them all focus directly on me to the exclusion of all else.

I'm worried about the Endbringers though. I doubt even I can survive their direct attention for long. I can probably bait a trap real good though.

If you pay attention, you'll notice that Powers are never mentioned in the "weaknesses" or "strengths" sections. That's not because powers don't do anything, it's because they are so versatile and diverse you can't really say that an enemy is "weak" to any particular one. It's all in how you use them.

Pilots aren't so easy to replace. If a significant number of them were with you High Command wouldn't be so keen to press their kill switches. Furthermore, the first rule is secrecy. They cannot kill you if they don't know it's YOU they need to kill, they sure as hell can't afford to purge everybody, and that's assuming they suspect anything at all until it's too late. Secrecy and guile are the key here.

You can't "join" the Outsiders and you can't try to take out High Command by force. Don't be stupid.

You get an absolute maximum of 8 total abilities assuming you took a Hazard (It looks like you did not). So why do you have 12? Weapon mods count as special capabilities, which you only get a total of 3 + technomancy + hazard bonus

Let me give a look on the Introduction first, it was straightforward and simple, like a introduction should be, but Hanna opening up and telling her traumas was kinda weird, especially in this world were people seem to not get attached to others, and cause she is a tsundere

this is essential for a long term strategy

if ESDF wasn't wiped out yet, that means they already got enough defenses, and the only way of winning a war is attacking, so i will be the one who will do that

this make any battle that isn't long range so much easier that my kill count will go through the roof

mobility will be the second core of my build(the first being murdering stuff) so the speed increase will be helpful

but the main thing here are those bursts of speed, making any maneuver way more effective and deadly

even if i'm super fast and skilled, that is completely useless if i cannot hurt the enemy

this will make sure i can hurt any of them and even split some in half

>Advanced flight(Hazard)

more mobility is always welcome, not sure how this would interact with Ghost step, but even in worst of the cases, this will help a lot

my trump card, with my Slayer being focused on speed and attack, a minute of free actions is enough for solve almost any problem

i don't really trust ESDF and some of those others Resonators seem to be up for bad things, this will help me keeping an eye on them, even has the bonus of letting me see through illusions

just saying that i gonna definitively peep on the girls showers with this, probably the most fun thing i can do in this forsaken wasteland of a world

this will help extending my surviving time and, if you think carefully, a split second for a master in the combat art(which i am cause Blademaster) is extremely useful

if you do the math, you will see that this option is kinda useless and that i could just get 2 Slayer abilities from the Hazard

but this option gives a "innate understanding of machinery" as an extra, maybe its just flavor but i like it anyway

If you didn't guessed yet, my role is kinda of a glass canon, killing things before they kill me

with 1700 i can probably live in enough comfort and i will get more Requisition later on

Overall, great cyoa, kinda messy but i would definitively play more of this style

Fair. Seeing humans stoop so low makes me think the outsiders were probably onto something. I wouldn't mind becoming one of the fallen heroes myself it it meant being Goo proof to ESDF. Spite is one hell of a drug.
