>9th of October 2018, Amsterdam, Netherlands Bitnation has issued Vienna Convention compliant passports (ICAO and ISO/IEC 7810 ID-3 standard and machine readable) to the public, ambassadors and core team members to allow users to travel as they work with nations and communities looking to assert sovereignty. The passports are recorded on the Ethereum blockchain and use the Bitnation Jurisdiction app’s Public Key as a unique identifier.

>A standard non-Diplomatic passport will be issued in 2019.

>Bitnation has created a decentralized jurisdiction for personal and business transactions on Android and iOS. The app is a peer-to-peer and encrypted chat protocol from which smart contracts can be created on any integrated blockchain. The Jurisdiction also allows the creation and joining of voluntary nations, and an AI-driven reputation and arbitration system will soon be integrated as a contract enforcement mechanism. Citizens create a pseudo-anonymous encrypted Public Key ID on the jurisdiction, which is linked to the passport.

Also intresting, SeaSteading Institute.

>The semiotics of the Villa bespeak a turning in, a denial of the bright void beyond the hull. Tessier and Ashpool climbed the well of gravity to discover that they loathed space. They built Freeside to tap the wealth of the new islands, grew rich and eccentric, and began the construction of an extended body in Straylight.

Honestly, I don't hate it. Not that it's anything revolutionary, they've just kicked the identity issuance can down the road a bit. The buzzwords make me think this is just some guys looking to get bought out by venture capital.

>pseudo-anonymous

Getting a bad vibe here, like this is just a megacorp bait for cryptoheads

Thats extremely unlikely because nothing forces you to use it. What stops you from possessing 'block-chain id' and then NOT using when you don't want to. You can have user accounts with one website, and then not identify your self when you post on the next.

Its actually an incredibly subversive idea. What if people didn't need government id, or government jurisdiction ? What if people organized voluntarily and peacefully ?

A fully anonymous society isn't really desirable. Being able to communicate fully anonymously when you want to is desirable. Have no identification system in place ever, and forcing everything to occur anonymously is a recipe for having no economy.

The problem is that just by using this they already know you're dealing in crypto, like if you get a full account on an exchange to make wire transfers in fiat and you need to give all kinds of documentation so now the gov and the megacorps know what you're doing.

The people who should be doing political advocacy arn't the same people who should be exposing themselves to other legal risk. If you are some kind of elite hacker, etc. then don't sign up to be apart of a political project to subvert government.

bitnation is a scam run by a couple of SF women who have defrauded their investors and developers. stay away.

I can't, I was just being retarded and trying to get some attention. I'm sorry about that.
