although it may not be overtly cyberpunk, the future of energy does qualify. a future that sustains itself on 100% efficient renewable sources would likely show a change in social order as the government would not have to interfere with energy as much, changing international relations. or, we stick with fossil fuels, changing international relations and increasing pollution, but also having a really strong economy. if you care about the future of energy, please respond.
