this isn't much different than other cyberpunk imageboard communities I've seen in the past ~10 years. I think the big difference now is (and I know we're all tired of people saying this) cyberpunk has become reality rather than fiction. People come here to escape their lives, not be reminded that Apple is throttling their phones to sell new product and Amazon is recording everything they say with their in-home surveillance device.
