On my medium-softness unflared Chance, the head and medial ring are both very easy to feel, and while I've never had a human-shaped one I don't see how it could be hard to feel the difference.

If you've never actually taken a real dick and want to work up to it, you can find reduced diameter dildos, typically labelled as beginner anal dildos.
