TL;DR just went to my doctor and mentioned something about prostate stimulation. He told me that it's never safe and told me I'd end up with a colostomy bag if I kept doing it. Is this true?

>be me, 19m, complaining about something minor at a doctor's appointment

>mention that I've been experimenting with prostate stimulation and ask if that could be related to my problem

>he tells me I shouldn't do it, gives me a scare tactic about colostomy bags

>tells me about all the guys he sees in the emergency room who perforated their ass and now they have to wear a bag

>"so if you keep doing that you're gonna end up with a little bag right here for the rest of your life."

what the fuck is this true? I never heard anything suggesting that anal sex is completely unsafe in any capacity. I know that you gotta do it right or you'll hurt yourself, but is it really completely unsafe? Thanks bois

Never listen to doctors. They're just trying to milk as much money from you as possible, and are mostly stuck on disproven science from a century ago. Doing what a doctor tells you to do, blindly without any knowledge about the subject yourself, is EXACTLY like doing what a car mechanic tells you to do when you know nothing about cars. You're gonna get ripped off.

This guy was probably just a homophobic old fart still living in the 50's. For the first part, rectal trauma like this DOESN'T EVER CAUSE a need for a colostomy bag. Provided you actually go to the ER and don't bleed to death, it is easily fixed (sewn up) and likely you will have no further problems. People end up with colostomy bags when they have to get entire lengths of their colon and rectum surgically removed, usually because of Crone's disease or cancer or something. What he was saying was like claiming that a broken arm will lead to you needing to get the entire thing amputated and get an artificial arm. Can it happen if the break is extremely bad? Sure, but it's VERY UNLIKELY.

Plenty of people do anal for many years without any real issues. The key to doing it safely is to always know your limits, don't try to go against pain, that's a signal to tell you to slow it down or stop. Even big toys can be safe, you just have to make sure you're properly stretching up to them and not getting overzealous. If there's ever any sign of blood that's also a good heads up to stop and let your ass rest for a few days or a week.

Just be careful anon. I had a pre existing condition and I bleed a little every time I use the bathroom. And I'll probably die of colon cancer as a result because there's nothing I can do. I don't know if trying to do butt stuff made it worse. Just please be careful
