Age has not been kind to me and I started getting a norwood 2 at 17, which is what I've been stuck with ever since.

I figure some of you anons might share my struggle too. Right now, I can just pull off a convincing comb to the side with wax after a shower but it starts falling apart by the time it gets oily again. I might get surgery to fix it in the future but it's simply nothing I can afford right now.

How do you guys go about hiding it?

Oh god, I have this exact same problem.

>Right now, I can just pull off a convincing comb to the side with wax after a shower but it starts falling apart by the time it gets oily again.

Same, my hair looks like COMPLETE shit unless I blow-dry it, but even then it would always end up starting to look gross and stringy before the end of the day. Made it even worse when it was humid. I started buying a whole bunch of different hair products to try different stuff out though and I found pic related. It hasn't completely fixed the problem, but just using this with a ventilated round hairbrush while blow drying and then a bit of a *light* hold hairspray after using a normal brush to do the side comb has been working out for me really well. I think my hair is noticeably better now. Maybe a stronger hold hairspray would be better, but I haven't tried yet. I was trying to avoid anything that would make me feel like there's residue in my hair, which this method has been pretty good about. Might also try wax eventually.

What do those look like, though?

Mid 20s here, getting a little bit of thinning on the top, like along the 'part'. I just wear my hair swept back now. If I remember right, the only balding patterns you should be worried about for health reasons are the ones that start in the back.

I certainly do know your pain. I was a norwood 3 at 22. and still one now. something like this picture but slightly worse. I actually tried to get finasteride but the doctor said no. thankfully it hasn't gotten worse since then.

I don't need to hide it yet, since my hairline has just begun receding with some crown thinning but no bald spots.

The transplant surgery is overrated, they won't do it to young guys since future loss is unpredictable, plus you have to take Propecia to maintain your non-transplanted hair anyways.

Get on Propecia ASAP, anon. I'm on it and hoping it will hold my hairline in stasis. Use minoxidil and buy a dermaroller too. That's all there is to it.

It sucks balding young, I refuse to go down without a fight though. If worse comes to worse, I'll start wearing wigs. I refuse to be a baldy in my early 20's.

I don't post here, but I saw this thread on the index of 8chan a few weeks ago and have some information that might be useful. plz no bully.

There have been studies that show that Pumpkin seed oil can help with hair regrowth. Another thing that has helped some people is Saw palmetto because hair loss can be an issue with your prostate. You could try using a Prostate Massager 2-3 times a week to massage your prostate, but I imagine those who patronize this board already massage their prostates. Finally, Green tea and Black tea daily are said to help with hair growth, I'm not certain how, I just remember reading that.

Also get one of those brushes >>391488 (nice dubs) has. You should brush, and also roll it over your scalp. If you have oily skin/hair, it's possible your hair follicles have gotten clogged from the oil.

I've grown some of my hair back, but I have a long way to go, I hope this helps you, and I hope other people can share their advice.

UK anon here. you don't need to get it from a doctor. you can buy it online at superdrug or boots without needing any prescription from a doctor. ive used superdrug and last year bought a 6 month supply from doctorfox (registered UK online pharmacy) all it took was £30 and a questionaire form.

go and buy it anon

did the doctor tell you why? DHT inhibitors like finasteride apparently also fuck with your hormones in general, which means youre essentially asking your doc to prescribe you HRT over your receding hairline.

Not him, but very few people lose their libido on finasteride. It's a loud vocal minority.

It can cause depression and anxiety though. Also you will not see any results until atleast 6 months. Alot of people quit during the shedding phase thinking that all hope is gone even though its a sign of it working.

The big 3 for hairloss is finasteride, minoxidil, and a ketoconazole shampoo (like nizoral).

You should be fine. Especially since you have not seen any side effects. Personally the worst I encountered was watery cum which went away.

Of course consult your doctor and it's best to get blood work done while on treatment of anything.

I get my finasteride from keeps. They mail it every 3 months.

Just don't

1. Get a girl preggers

2. Donate blood.

If you plan on having kids you need to stop using finasteride while trying. You can resume back on it after your'e no longer trying to have kids.

Don't donate blood for the same reason you shouldn't knock someone up while on it. Basically females and fetuses are sensitive to dht inhibitor and could cause the unborn child to be intersex.
