I'm in Texas less than an hour from Louisiana. Your state is fucking awful. Seriously, it's probably the shittiest state in the country. When in a car, I can pinpoint the exact second I cross the state border into Louisiana without even having my eyes open because it instantly transitions from perfectly smooth road to a god damn wasteland. Shreveport just looks like one big ghetto.
The boardwalk there is a neat place, though.
