Spergwood is that rare breed of autism who has enough brain cells to have a conversation but lacks any kind of self-awareness or understanding. He will enter into interactions with his mind made up. If the person disagrees with him, that person is flaming him by default.
This is explained by his numerous sockpuppets in which after tarding out under his own name, magical voices of calm reason will come to his defense and subsequently disappear when called out on there retarded, bullshit logic, which in turn allows Nate to show up immediately, even more assblasted that no one fell for the ruse.
Nate will also not read his own rage posts until after he ragespams, proclaiming he needs to correct spelling errors. This is a hold over from his early education where it was more than likely drilled into him about the importance of learning English and correct spelling.
He also can't read. Many times, Nate will forget who he is talking to and make rageposts at himself, due to his spamming, causing him massive confusion and even more rage. He also truly believes that the more he rages, the more people will suddenly bend to his will and become his personal army. This logic has worked so well, he has gotten himself banned from EVERY. SINGLE. FORUM. he has ever joined in the past 10 years.
The reason Spergwood has this temperament is due to a number of factors. Much like Chris, Nate had trouble developing social circles because his parents moved him from school to school, more than likely due to his outbursts. He proclaimed that he was in Special Ed classes until the age of 9. In American public schools, these classes are not tailored to an individuals learning disability and are more like 8 hour, toy-filled holding cells where kids are often babysat and left to their own devices.
Since the age of 5, he has a predilection towards cartoons and drawing and as evidenced by most autists, they develop a deep attachment to fantasy characters, due to their difficulty in forming emotional attachments to their own age groups. This hobby was more than likely encouraged by his parents who are not only aware of Nate's spergfests but would've figured it would keep him occupied long enough not to break shit in the house when he threw a tantrum.

This revelation is further cemented as he admitted he got his mother to film his video resume. Whether or not his mother knows about TV Tropes, the ED article, or his Wikipedia ban, is irrelevant. The fact that she is a willing participant in his delusion would mean that not only is she allowing Nate to tard out online but she actively encourages and coddles his tantrums. Nate could've also lied and not told his mother that this was to be a video resume. This is inconsistent however with his overt attachment to Dana, meaning he might tell her everything that's going on in his life. Further proof of this is the vocaroo call made to her when she was informed her son was making death threats to strangers online. Her reaction was that of being not surprised and even mentioned that telling him to stop might not do anything, do to the fact they leave an adult in age only to Yabba Dabba Doo all over the fucking Internet screaming about shit no one cares about. The worst (and funniest) part about that scenario is if Dana DID know it was a video resume, she couldn't dress her kid up in decent clothes and let him sperg out, making it seem that she doesn't want him to succeed and wants to take care of him until she dies. It has also been confirmed that she cuts Nate's hair with a metal colander and a pair of Fiskars as Nate had a traumatic interaction with hair clippers at a toddler barbershop.
According to another Anon who called his father Jerry, Jerry stated that there is an outer lock on Nate's door due to his tantrums, that Nate is a frequent bedwetter, and his mother is "in charge of him", leading to the conclusion that Jerry has checked out from the giant clusterfuck that is a loveless marriage, massively disappointing son and the realization it would be too fucking expensive to leave them.
It has also been revealed that Nate has an older brother named Nick, who beats Nate for being stupid, tells Nate he stinks and coughs in Nate's direction when Nate is being annoying.
