It has a lot to do wit two thingsh these people wanting to make money and try to be e famous at the expense of someone's downfall instead of being trolls doing things for the fucking lulz. Basically bandwagon effect.
Take example from A Log that wasn't around that long in the CWC and found Chris Chan on the internet decided to make videos started getting popular and started using Chris Chan for everything on his channel to bring him down in order to make himself feel better about how shit his life is.
The opposite end is when trolls start to lose sight of what it means to be trolls and then try to go on a fucking moral crusade in order to make sure one troll group is left standing instead of respecting the fact they have the same goal and do not like to be criticized. This is notable in reviewtechusa community with big cheese world order when the entire group split into two where the new guy becomes owner that doesn't know jack shit about anything and thinks it's like Minnesota burns when it's an actual warzone to try and go for lulz or expose the person instead of trying to become popular. The group splits into two and you realize you need to not be part of that group anymore and leave for the c other that knows what they are doing and have been doing it well for years with experience.
