I think it's time we just let ED die. As it's popularity waned more and more articles become edited by the likes of Phobos, and it's community keeps nearing critical mass, sperg wise. It started off as nothing but a community dedicated to documenting petty internet drama by people with no lives, then it got funny for a little while when college students got involved and were just editing shit for giggles. Now it's just become this place for half assed personal army requests edited by spiteful virgins with entirely too much time on their hands. It's full of people who take places like this and /pol/ seriously.
It's just sad. I'm a stay at home trust fund boyfriend in his 30's with no friends who's engaged to workaholic science double major 10 years his junior with no friends, and yet even I get depressed when surfing ED. Anything of value there can be found by doing a Google search of the person yourself, and the rest is often just unconfirmed bullshit and shitflinging.
The Rika article was only funny because it made Rika come here and dance for us a little.
