An anon in the SA thread suggested that someone create a TV Tropes thread, so here it is.
http://tvtropes.org/
This is TV Tropes aka Sperg Central. It claims to be "a catalog of the tricks of the trade for writing fiction". In reality, it's a bunch of lists of things that happened in fiction. They can explain the who, the what, the when, the where, but never the why or the how. A trope is a storytelling convention or plot device, but most of the pages on TV Tropes focus on aesthetic elements that have no impact on the story. Here are just a few examples of what I'm talking about:
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/YouGottaHaveBlueHair
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ImpossiblyTackyClothes
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SwordLines
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PornStache
And that's just the tip of the autistic iceberg. They used to have a page called "Fetish Fuel", which was devoted to cataloging all the small things in cartoons that made the users horny. All of those examples have now moved offsite.
http://fetishfuel.wikia.com/wiki/Fetish_Fuel_Wiki
They also have a page called "Nightmare Fuel", which talks about all the things in fiction that scared the users. This page proves that most of the users of the site are complete pussies.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NightmareFuel
But all of this pales in comparison to the forums.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/topics.php
Here tropers do things like talk about retarded conspiracy theories:
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/conversations.php?topic=0000000000000000000001wj
Give idiotic writing advice:
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/conversations.php?topic=000000000000000000000295
And engage in roleplay. Lots and lots of roleplay.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/conversations.php?topic=0000000000000000000004ul
This roleplay thread in particular has a million posts:
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=i9k31ypluou9s5j9d2w7n23k&page=0
All of this and more can be found on TV Tropes, the most autistic site on the planet!

The term "trope" is the worst thing to ever happen to reviewing. It's litter used for anything deemed "problematic" or "any I don't like".

Actually, much like "stereotype", it's a neutral word that's just been overused in negative contexts
It's really just for highlighting things/situations/characteristics that happen frequently between various pieces of media
82c025 No.117507
>>117483
They avoided cliche because it has the negative connotation of being overused.
Trope just means "something similar between two or more separate works" rather than overused specifically. All cliches are tropes, but not all tropes are cliches is their mentality.
It's only because Tropes vs Women happened that it got roped in as negative when the site itself explicitly states "Tropes are neither good or bad, they're just tools and devices."
For the most part the cocks of the site is fine, the only problem in regards to it that I've seen is that people get really fucking involved in reading them and start applying them everywhere and think that that's how stories are written.
I've avoided any and all drama associated with it, so if someone wants to inform plebs like myself on what the skinny is then I'm all ears.

You usually get marked on your capacity to analyse and interpret something, develop a theory and then your ability to write those thoughts fluently and in an interesting manner.
You can find any symbolism in anything with post-modern artistic viewing because everything is subjective. The art is less a product of the artist's vision and more a reflection of the audience's own thoughts and feelings. If the audience thinks that Jesse Pinkman is victimised by the Devil the patriarchy, then all they have to do is show what evidence supports it, why they interpret it that way and write it in a convincing enough manner.

Have you seen the show? There was nothing there that shows the dangers of masculinity or patriarchy. Jesse could be considered a victim of his own mistakes or a victim of a bad parental figure, but a man dominated society had nothing to do with it.
If the person was making a point about the Fargo TV show being about those themes, they would have a point because there is evidence to support that claim. You have Lester trying to prove himself as a man which led to him killing his wife and led him down a dark path where people got killed. Lorne Malvo is a corrupting force who refuses to use a pink walkie-talkie and laughs when picturing a girl get raped by a dog. Then you have Molly be the hero of the story and Gus being someone who doesn't try to prove himself as a man who both end up living a satisfying life in the end.
Now, I'm not defending the point that patriarchy is bad or whatever, but at least the show had evidence to support that claim. Breaking bad had none of that. All points made in this analysis are pulled from their ass.

It both is and it isn't.
It would be difficult if you made them actually autistic because the average person just wouldn't get it and they'd get frustrated watching someone not be able to grasp simple concepts that other people don't even think about.
What you'd probably end up with to make it easier is some Hollywood version of the affliction (see Hollywood Ugly, which just means "average" or "good looking but not wearing nice clothes") where they fuck up but they're still someone the audience can get along with. Instead of autism being a constant borderline sociopathy where you punch your own head and scream at fish, you're just a little socially awkward but you're trying really hard to get better at it while the rest of your life is standard.

Do not treat rape as the epitome of heinousness in a story where other villains commit crimes just as bad or worse, such as genocide, harming or killing children, or Cold-Blooded Torture. Sorry to derail, but I'm going to warn you now: they couldn't honestly give less of a fuck about the bifurcative differences in empatho-cognition between the conditions.
Usefully though, these differences apply in general at a greater scale to those seen between men and women, so perhaps Cohen is onto something.
'No empathy' is a useful epithet for the psychopaths (as confirmed by your chart) using this board to justify blindly the targeting of autists. It is in this sense a meta-trollshield, because then they can deny their disregard and veil themselves under a banner of conscientious concern; the classic hallmark of a manipulative liar and thus, the archetypically average user of this board. As we've increasingly seen, this still holds however inconsequential their targets are.
Seriously, they pail in comparison even to my synthetic escapades.
I've been saying what your picture has, in different ways, since about 2012. The /cow/ardly basement-dwelling retard, especially those oldfags who still frequent its later incarnations, who adorn personas which proclaim existential wordliness to conceal the abjection of their failure, are surely going to be the first to reject this valid observation out of hand.
Especially when the average /cow/ardly baement-dwelling retard is a closeted worshipper of radical feminism, if autistic neuromasculinity, and their desire to destroy such, holds.

I know THAT bit is right, but everything prior to that was explaining how rape IS a special kind of evil and how you have to be SO CAREFUL if you want to put it in a story.

Autistophobe or autophobe would be more etymologically correct.
It would never be coined as a word because the hypermale, far from being a protected group, are so aggressively pursued, in attempts to deliberately retard and stave their development, by psychiatry and the matriarchy-enabled single cuck-parenting socialist "child welfare" complex, that it's suggestive of the latent fear they harbour about the autist's silently surreptitious status as a remnant of aristocratically patriarchal evolution.

For those of you who don't speak Low Common, a "Dethroning Moment of Suck" in Troper-Speak is supposed to a really bad moment in a TV show. Like, the lowest of the low. The very worst scene or episode - the kind that makes you reconsider even watching it. Shit like that episode of Dallas where it all turned out to be a dream. The kind of shit where you realize the show has reached the event horizon of suck and will never produce another good episode ever again.

What you speak of is a part of the Negativity Purge, an unprecedented mass deletion that set the standard for how TVtropes handles its problems. People didn't want their circlejerks interrupted so all the negative articles were either defanged or left intentionally vague. This pretty much destroyed the "tropes are not bad" argument for a lot of pages because instead of going away the negativity was driven to places where people could argue "this trope was used in this thing thereby making it lazy/boring/offensive/unfunny". Many of the allegedly neutral articles seem to have a more negative tone than the ones that are supposed to be negative.

They could've ended the skit right there and it would've been hilarious for its dark irony. Instead, they go for this absolutely gruesome death scene where we see The Joker's flesh slowly melt off of his face and his eyeballs explode until his head explodes completely. And, the joke Batman and Commissioner Gordon share at the end makes no sense at all. How do you go from a relatively funny skit to something as over-the-top, unfunny, and disgusting as this? Hmm? Seth Green must have some irrational hatred of the Mario franchise, because all of the sketches involving it suck. The one that made me swear off the show for good, however, was the most recent one, called "Mario Party". The only good thing in it was the fact that Mario and Luigi didn't get brutally murdered at the end. But the reason it sucks so badly? It's not the sketch itself, which was just as unfunny as any other Mario sketch on the show. It's because they use a lot of toys of the Mario characters that I know for a fact are fake. Counterfeit toys on Robot Chicken. What. The. Fuck. I'd expect this sort of thing from The Irate Gamer, not someone who claims to be a lover of action figures and has an actual TV show. You mean pull a Johnny boy. John went from calling people dikes and niggers (iirc) and telling politicians he's going to kick her in the cunt (or something like that), to "being" a "woman" fighting "misogyny".
I believe people can change and be forgiven, but to be forgiven you have try to make up for the shit you did, not just pretend it didn't happen.
There was a Liberian warlord who destroyed (and raped) countless families. He now spends his life going to church and finding every single person he wronged and apologizing in person. It won't bring back the people he killed nor will it unrape the people he raped, but simply hanging the man wouldn't bring them back either.

This episode seems outright worthy of being sued for slander.
>The Fairly OddParents episode "Love Struck!" is nothing but a big middle-finger to LGBT societies! Just because all women are separated, there's almost no love left? And one single straight pairing is enough to power up cupid all of sudden? The moral is supposed to be that love is important, but I feel too offended by it's homophobic implications to even notice that asoep. What does it mean when Ladyland equals a void anyway?
>The Cleveland Show: The way they wrote out Cleveland's ex-wife in that Family Guy crossover. Basically, it says a man (Glenn Quagmire) can be an adulterer (let's not forget some of his more questionable behavior) all he likes and not get any sort of comeuppance for his behavior, but when a woman does it even once has to be made to pay for it with her life later on! Going by the trailer, all of her Dad's emotions seem to be male, while all of mom's emotions seem to be female. Riley, on the other hand, has three female emotions, while other two-fifths or her psyche are male. Additionally, maybe this film will be in part about LBGT issues and show Riley exploring her gender identity.
>I'd find this an enjoyable plot but given that Pixar targets young children and their families with their movies, this is sadly unlikely. I'd applaud Pixar if they had the gumption to do it though.
>The Emotions are shown in the Japanese trailer to have appeared for Riley in her infant/toddler years the way they are in the present. It could be that the gender of a person's Emotions is random at their birth, and they remain like that through their life. It's entirely possible that the older Andersons could have had all their Emotions be their opposite gender, or a mix, but they just happened to have a set of Emotions that are all their same gender.

I was part of this shit near the beginning back in 2009-early 10. The site went to shit after the initial purge. Originally the thing was like ED-lite, mostly full of jokes and backhanded comments, links for file-sharing and torrents when somebody expressed interest in this shit. In fact that original group had alot of kids in college or grad school disgusted by the leftist agenda in media for the last 50+ years. It seemed like half the shit was about picking apart retarded hippy crap, especially from 90s scifi and earlier print media.
Then fasteddie decided to kick out 80% of the users because we, didn't take it seriously. After that it became a ghost town, then a center for SJW faggots. The real tipping point was the fact that everybody was making fun of Avatar in 2010 and certain liberal faggots didn't like people talking about slaughtering blue space elves.

>I used to do the same as well. Because when your site that claims to "celebrate fiction" has 200+ subpages for MLP but some classic Hollywood film with actual artistic merit has a one-paragraph synopsis and less than ten tropes, something's fucking wrong.
Like a said up at the top of the thread, that's basically everything wrong with the place. Its mostly just manchildren with a stunted and childish world view who think that daytime western animation and merch-driven shonen are par with classic literature. There's nothing wrong with liking some kid's media, but they'd have to be pretty ignorant of the world beyond their NEET dungeon to think MLP fanfics are as important as Kafka or Whitman.

SOCJUS didn't start it, they just took over after the Negativity Purge. The fan circlejerks didn't want to be bothered by irregular visitors OR political correctness, which Fast Eddie seems to have been satisfied with at the time. Then a bunch of goons got involved, which is where CrazyGoggs came from. The goons had a lot of pretty common complaints but were most upset about the lack of action taken toward people they felt shouldn't be allowed around there. The fan circlejerks did not like this and Fast Eddie ignored it for a while, but eventually he cracked and went into panic-mode. Mass purges came back as Eddie hoped that anything that could get him in trouble with either the law or advertisers was getting deleted. The good news is this did get rid of some of the fan circlejerks' crap, but as I mentioned in another thread, these cleanups tend to be very spotty and often focus on the wrong things, so very little if anything is truly clean.

>How the female characters, Gazelle and Roxy were written. No nude scenes, neither are sexually objectified, and prove to be badass. Even Princess Tilde gets a nod in the post:
Roxy isn't made to be the typical Love Interest for Eggsy and proves to be very skilled despite not getting a lot of screen time.
Gazelle: "A woman of colour, who is not only mentoring the villain, but she turned her disability into deadly advantage."
Princess Tilde: "The princess proposed sex to him, not the other way around, and it was her idea to make it anal. She didn’t passively fell into Eggsy’s arms as a prize, she very actively wanted to have sex with the guy, who saved the world. I don’t know how owning her sexuality and enjoying sex lessens the fact that she was the only one who stood up to Valentine or that she didn’t break after month of imprisonment."

The wiki does have a lot of merit that way. A lot of articles are genuinely interesting. Like the "lampshading" one.
At the same time, tropes are basically every sperg's ultimate wet-dream. They allow you to relentlessly categorize every. single. thing. Everything is either played straight, subverted, lampshaded or parodied, no exceptions. It's reductionism for the sake of creating a nice orderly system.
That reductionism is what SOCJUS loves to use. Any art which qualifies for the Damsel in Distress trope must automatically be bad. After all, the trope is anti-woman, therefore the art is bad.

That's the problem with thinking in "tropes." It condenses writing down to bland, generic building blocks instead of a fluid, abstract concept. I was playing Magic with a friend in the dorm and another friend of ours, who the sperg sometimes followed around, was playing Mario Kart or something in the same room, so the sperg was there as well. My friend put on Rammstein and I made a half-assed joke about the German lyrics sounding angry even though the music was pretty calm.
The sperg said "This is what TVTropes would call lyrical dissonance" and proceeded to stutter through the definition of lyrical dissonance according to TVTropes. Every time I interrupted him to say that I already know what lyrical dissonance is and this isn't an example of it, since none of us could understand the lyrics in the first place, he'd start over. Then he got really mad at me and tried to storm out of the room, but then came back and awkwardly waited for his "friend" to follow him (he didn't).

I've longtime lurked here on /cow/, laughed my ass off at a lot of the stuff you guys have posted, and since I happen to run one of those focal points of autism you guys laugh at, just here to do a little AMA, saying hi.
I'm GethN7, founder of All The Tropes on Miraheze (formerly Orain, before they went down) and Wikia, and they are basically two branches of the same site, as I run and support both.
And yes, I'm an admitted autist. You guys want to call me an aspie or rag on me for that, open fire with both barrels, I don't give a shit. Hell, I'm fairly immune to trolling at this point, just try to make it funny if you want to troll me.
Anyway, just to let you guys have a little info on why ATT is "cancer-free" (or why it seems like that's the idea) on both branches.
1. We killed Troper Tales and Fetish Fuel because they were fucked up hives of perversion and that shit was rightly mocked. Our Orain/Miraheze branch killed that stuff off within days of founding, and the Wikia stuff was deleted not long after. I got a little whining on the Wikia fork for wanting to burn that crap, but Wikia Staff backed my decision to do so (I showed them the really fucked up stuff and they were happy to set it on fire) and most of the perverts who continued to give me grief got thrown out (especially that sick pedo fuck TGComix, fuck that SOB)
2. We don't really have a formal forum culture on either branch, and what little forums we do have is strictly for discussion of technical crap for keeping the wiki going. The staff of ATT decided early on the forum culture of TV Tropes was a mistake and we didn't want to repeat it.
3. We do allow making pages about adult works like hentai, but we maintain a strict "don't jack off while writing the page" policy. It's tropable media, it deserves to have pages, and we collectively believe it's bullshit that TV Tropes bends over and takes it for Google on that point, but we try to just keep the pages from becoming jerkoff shrines, they are strictly limited to the facts.
4. If you guys want to see some real autism, go check out the Complete Monster edit wars (more on Wikia than Miraheze). Thankfully, we have some strict rules on how to keep that under control, but those pages are a clusterfuck of autistic circlejerking, and I'm especially grateful for one of our admins, who mostly monitors that crap and does most of the heavylifting of keeping that autism in check.
5. We try to avoid "powerleveling". One, most of us at ATT are wise to the internet and know you shouldn't put crap out in public you don't want to haunt you later, and I especially know guys like the good people here will point and laugh at that sort of faggotry.
6. TV Tropes and All The Tropes have a cordial relationship these days. We make sure we don't plagiarize each other due to our different licenses, and I've even tipped off TV Tropes about a few trolls like Nate Spidgewood (guy is DEFINITELY a lolcow, archived some of his more unhinged rants on my blog). Our site doesn't interact with them much, but we try to keep drama between us down to nothing. Fast Eddie hated the hell out of us, but the current owner is willing to live and let live and we're willing to do the same.
If you guys have any other questions, just ask.

What's the story behind that shit on the trope pantheon page?

> We killed Troper Tales and Fetish Fuel because they were fucked up hives of perversion and that shit was rightly mocked.
Is that one of or the reason that TV Tropes shut down their own troper tales section? On one hand, I'm glad that shit got shut down because it was downright creepy some times, but on the other, it was good for a cheap laugh some times.

The Trope Pantheon, I don't know for certain. It started as some innocent little "which characters from certain media would be the most emblematic of certain tropes and it mutated into some sad as hell jerk off fantasy multiplayer fanfic.
Here, did a blog post on how terrible it's become here:
http://gethn7.blogspot.com/2016/02/i-discuss-valkyrie-drive-mermaid-and.html
Yes, Troper Tales and Fetish Fuel were killed off for being creepy as fuck and some cocks was almost skirting into outright illegal territory (I puked reading the brother-sister incest page, that was some sick shit) on TV Tropes, and after a very brief abortive attempt to try salvaging some of the more innocent Troper Tales on ATT (which was immediately discovered to be a fool's errand), we chucked it in the bonfire with the Fetish Fuel crap, haven't looked back since, don't regret it.

Warning, long assed tl;dr ahead.
From ordinary tropers, bemusement, confusion, and a bit of contempt were the general reaction, though in their defense, there was a trope wiki fork that preceded my own attempts called the Trope Mirror Wiki (the predecessor to the current Wikia fork of ATT), started by an ex-troper named Jack Butler that was mostly a "we'll form our own, with blackjack and hookers" kind of deal.
Jack was a big enemy of what he considered the anime over-influence on the wiki (in his defense,he's wasn't completely wrong, anime crap had seeped into a LOT of aspects of the troping wiki), and so his wiki tried to be all uber serious and he tried to lump all anime into the cartoon section.
Unfortunately, Jack was woefully inept at actually running a wiki, and pissed off Wikia big time and got himself permabanned for trying to delete everything when he wanted to move to independent hosting 9and that soon died completely), where it law fallow for quite some time until a disgruntled former troper there resumed running things named Anime Addict.
Anime Addict was much less of an anime hater (as the name suggests), but guy had a huge W40K boner and tried to import some bizarre ideas, like his own weird ideas for categories and he was really anal about keeping track of the date he last edited an article (in some ways, he was so autistic I cringed). However, what REALLY got him in hot water was his blatant contempt for copyright (TV Tropes was still under CC BY SA at this point), and around the time Fast Eddie got wind he was running the show, he was initially dismissive, thinking it would amount to little more than Jack Butler's attempts, but I took over sometime afterward after Anime Addict skipped town for a couple months (leaving me able to adopt it from Wikia), and around that time I used the TV Tropes dump done by Brent Laabs around July 2012 to start mass importing articles.
Fast Eddie took a lot more notice, especially since I had gotten enough articles imported we were more than an easily ignorable joke, and when I pointed out I could do so under CC BY SA licensing, he got really mad and told me to fuck off more or less forever even though I wasn't breaking any laws, and soon after changed the TV Tropes license to CC BY NC SA (illegally, I might add) out of spite.
Around this time, I had partnered up with Brent and we had decided to formally set up a full fledged fork of TV Tropes on non Wikia hosting (what became ATT Orain), and sometime after that, I reimported the fork from Orain over the Wikia cocks (since Anime Addict and Jack had left a lot of copyright violating artifacts behind and I wanted to start over with a clean slate).
By this point, we were persona non grata on TV Tropes, and that continued until he finally decided to step down and hand over control to the current owner, Drew Schoentrup.
Brent met with Drew in person soon after, and after some initial attempt by Drew to essentially buy us out, which we declined, we had a long, uneasy truce, occasionally marred by some teething problems, as a lot of tropers still had a lot of Fast Eddie's contempt for us, but since it was clear we weren't going away, that settled down, and after we hammered out a deal for TV Tropes to remove some of their more blatantly illegal copyright changes (they have still kept the NC-SA license change, but removed an even more illegal clause saying they owned everyone's contributions retroactively), we mellowed out quite a bit, and after we worked out a deal to keep peace in the valley (and I even helped report some phishers when they got phished at one point and helped keep tabs on a few persistent vandals), the response has basically been "you do your thing, we'll do ours", and we've gotten along just fine.
On that page on how to fuck up TV Tropes, I'd say it's fairly accurate in most particulars, as I spent a lot of time researching PmWiki during the time I and Brent were ironing out how to do a fork (we picked MediaWiki as our wiki engine because PmWiki is frankly dogshit), and most of what they recommend is still viable, given what I know of how their modified form of PmWiki works (I extensively studied the page source code with the element inspection tools of my web browser to get an idea how the place worked while ATT was in its planning phases), and since they still appear to be using the same site code as before (it just has a nicer look now), most of that page should still be current, though I don't doubt they have some better tools for undoing vandalism by now.

>** Bob himself has been gradually falling in popularity recently.
>For much of mid to late 2000s, he was a well-liked internet personality who was gaining good traction for his movie reviews and videos on obscure yet cheesy 80s B-movies.
>Starting out with a channel on YouTube in 2006, he moved to ScrewAttack before joining The Escapist with two well-regarded shows and a weekly column.
>However, Bob began losing traction as time went on because of his oft-controversial opinions on pop culture.
>In 2010, he praised the divisive VideoGame/MetroidOtherM as inherently superior to the well-loved [[VideoGame/MetroidPrime Prime]] trilogy just because the Prime games [[BiasSteamroller were FPSs]].
>He would release four separate videos aimed at bashing anyone supporting the "Retake Mass Effect" movement, even though he admitted he'd [[ComplainingAboutShowsYouDontWatch never actually played or cared about any of the games]].
>Furthermore, many of his works became more focused on SoapBoxSadie views and blatant [[FanHater attacks on fans of works he despises]], turning off many of his fans.
>Even people who supports Bob's goal of [[StopBeingStereotypical improving nerd culture]] feel that [[DontShootTheMessage his caustic attitude is overshadowing out his legitimate points]].
>Eventually Bob lost his job at The Escapist and he went back to ScrewAttack, although the site's crew made it explicitly known they just host Bob and don’t share his viewpoints.
>While he still does have a following, Bob has also garnered a growing {{Hatedom}} moreso compared to similar personalities like Jim Sterling and Yahtzee.
Just when I thought I'd found some degree of sanity on their site a few months ago they went and removed this section from Deader than Disco. Apparently if Bob "The Game Non-Thinker" Chipman claims something is dead it's a fact, but he himself is forever hip and current.

I have noticed that spergs love Warhammer, and shoehorn it everywhere in a similar way to MLP, From imageboards to Trump. I don't get the appeal, it's just over the top space marine done in such ridiculous way that it must be some fine meta satire.

Another thing I notice from Tv Tropes is they consider everything dark, you can't search it trying to find something to watch or read without reading how sad, serious and griim Cardfight Buddy Fight is. I mean, come on, it's just cartoons.

Oh, I agree, and that was the basic argument for making sure it stayed dead and buried when we killed it, same argument TV Tropes also made, and neither they nor us ever want it back.

Fucking damn man i knew a guy who would read TVTropes constantly and was this autistic as it went on to be painfully obvious i notice they always lose a lot of friends and are outcasts for not getting why they are annoying. I will just greentext it. Then explain my feelings on it. Its better everyone is warned against being friends with any of these types that like to read TVTropes.
>Have a friend that browses tvtropes constantly
>Says its much better than the wikis because it gives more info(complete bullshit one creates autism the other prevents it)
>Always makes references other bullshit to sound cool
>Make a small comparison to one anime in particular with the swords in the ground everywhere scene and Berserk Zodd battle with swords in the ground everywhere except in snow.
>ITS NOT THE TROPE NAMER IT ALL STARTED WITH ALEXANDER SWORD AND THE STONE
>Nah im done with this shit
Something i have always noticed with anyone that uses these tropes and lives for it is that to them it feels like they are part of the cool crowd or that they have hidden knowledge or know a lot. They also take everything on TVTropes as absolute fact because it exists on the site and its never wrong. When the truth is its kind of easy to copypasta and write things that happen constantly in stories or in life or even things that are conjecture. Sometimes they will even use TVTropes as an argument tool when its really shitty compared to actual information and research.
Its not really a trope or hidden knowledge or even makes anyone look cool. Its just full blown autism of people that are antisocial and have bad social skills and try to act like the cool guy saying meme stuff or writing things that are obvious plot elements down, trying to predict everything or even spoiling events that happen for others, and lastly just try to copy and paste from others and be something they are not for attention. Nobody likes these assholes and neither do i.
I also have noticed lately even some youtubers are starting to adopt the whole TVTropes shit and act like "it adopts the ROOL OF KOOL in this anime"(Digibro) and then you have a reviewer that tries to act like the problem with Sonic is because it follows under the BIG BAD and all of this silly shit. I mean how is that even a review or pointing out something new? Its just the obvious stating the obvious. Oh look i just dropped my pencil i am now the trope namer for having to pick it up in front of class! Its not some new concept or something that makes the reviewer interesting. Its just annoying and no one wants to be around it these shuddercows.

Are you Tony Mamet? I fucking love Lakeboat. Was it all filmed on the Seaway Queen, or were parts of it done on a set? You were pretty good, but J.J. Johnston as Stan was the best character by far.

They're fucking hilarious and I had no idea tropers were this fucked up. I knew tvtropes was a laughingstock but not to this level of autism.
Yet I can't help but sense an immense amount of virtue signaling by crazygoggs himself. Am I retarded or has anyone else noticed this?
Also the comments section is awful. I forgot how much self righteous butthurt there was in 2012
