I've now set the announcement bar to an exact copy of the /qresearch/ announcement bar
using the html found in
https://pastebin.com/iLgJS0w2
all you need to do is copy the text into the board announcement bar text box and click Save changes
do not hit enter
do not click preview
I've found some oddities
the change shows up 1st on new threads
the view changes depending on being logged in or not
after an unknown time ( a few days?) the changes show up on all threads
