A real trailer has finally dropped and…. it's not that great. Tom's acting is the weakest part of it. Feels like he's trying to act like a laid back douche a little too hard. Maybe it's just the script having some pretty bore dialogue. I will say though, Venom is real neat looking just from the shot you get of him at the end.
My biggest concern is how little of Venom there will actually be compared to the final product. They'll probably work too much with Tom first instead of Venom. Save on CGI and sell his face more. I hope I'm wrong.
