A week is one of the lighter bans for shitposting. After dealing with the "Hey___" posting and the "Shiftkey" shit, I've taken a hard stance on shitposting. If you come and you've been doing things other than shit-posting, like actually talking about comics and cartoons, then you're going to get a shorter ban than some fag who comes on here purely to shit post. I don't recall 8/co/ ever having this problem, actually this time I think there's a lack of OC going on. You need to strike a nice balance between the two to ensure a healthy board community. There's a difference between healthy banter and bitching for no reason. There's always going to be someone that's going to bitch, usually it settles itself but its pretty obvious when it gets out of hand. I think you're referring when one drawfag was pushing a literal neck-beard fat ass as a /co/-tan and everyone else didn't want it. That instance was text-book definition of shitposting, in no logical manner would any board make their tan a literal neckbeard because in reality all the board-tans would be like that. The drawfag was an obvious shitposter and when he wasn't around things went swimmingly.
