Animation in that kids show about a xeno lover, tech heretic, deserter, and underhive scum looks pretty bad. Hopefully it fails, same goes to other recent bad 40k projects like their Marvel comics.

Blood angels animation looks good based on what little of it was shown. Games Workshop should focus more on things like it. Pandering to little kids is not a good idea. They should target ages 10+ demographic - most kids in that range begin to like edgy shit and get into anime. Going for something reminiscent of BTAS, Batman Beyond or just handing it to Japs would be a better idea. It would be superior at attracting new fans without pissing off the existing ones.

Shame that there never will be a serious series about 40k rogue traders. Premise has a ton of potential for both something purely episodic as well as story arc heavy. Due to rogue traders' unique status you could have anything between space Indiana Jones and space political intrigue, and have stories set both in the highest and lowest levels of imperial society.

when the Leman Russ tank was invented, the creator had to lie and say that he found it in an STC schematic when what he really did was analyze how tanks are built and made a new one
