I have mixed feelings about this. The cartoon was fun, but also incredibly stupid, because it was about D&D, a game about killing monsters, but they tried as hard as they could to never have the heroes kill anything. Also, after all these years of D&D getting nothing but shit adaptations (that one comic that got canceled excluded) and they're doing a fucking liveaction movie of the 80s cartoon? That's powerfully stupid… but WotC and D&D are powerfully awful these days anyways.

Why adapt the old cartoon? There's plenty of better options. Eberron is pretty much perfect for a movie that would be entertaining for both fans and normalfags.
